I almost chucked my phone down the chute more than a few times at the start. However, once you learn how to pick points and make sure your plane of measurement is correct, it never fails. Take muktiple measurements, too! Remember measure twice (or 3x) and cut once or recheck your calculations a few times. I use it for quick estimates on site and get things done fast and accurate. Go get your tape measure or laser beam and waste a few hours while I can use my phone and get as close a measurement as we need until we set up shop. Do you need to be 10.000 or is about 10 good enough to get started? The other thing is to remember that it is an app and will never be as accurate as a micrometer; if you think that it should be best of luck in your career. Buy good tools for when you need dead-on measurements but use this app when you need to be close and save time/money.
