Apparently, the only way this app will work as an onscreen ruler is if you give it access to your camera. Why would I need to do that to use it as a simple onscreen ruler? FAIL!

**Developer response:** Hi! The app asks you for camera access for its AR ruler (which has to use the camera to analyze the room) but you can decline that and only use the on-screen ruler. Seb

What a awesome app, incredibly easy / intuitive to use (compared with others you need a pilots license to figure out)
The simplicity of use is unreal! 
Importantly also has your basic ruler picture with 1 flick.
It’s also super cool to have the measuring line drawn out on display so don’t have to remember what exactly you just measured, which gives you a picture reference.
Keep up the excellent work!

I tried different things that should have been sufficient to detect. E.g. corner of picture on wall, tiles, mat, foot, coffee table, etc. It didn’t detect anything so deleting.

Like whatever I was trying to measure something… I was trying to measure a dog and I didn’t take.  so.  I will not recommend this app

**Developer response:** Measuring dogs? I have so many questions! The AR ruler looks for vertical or horizontal surfaces such as a table or a wall, so you might be able to measure the length of the dog against the floor. But if your dog can keep still long enough he/she is a good dog who deserves a treat! Seb

The app works but the range of footage it can measure before losing tracking kinda sucks but it has free demo without giving away your credit card details so it’s will be worth a buy if developer fixes the range issues.

HONEST REVIEW - This is the best measure tool without promotions or disturbances in between. Im really surprised to see such an awesome working tool after installing and uninstalling so many useless applications. Fantastic work from the Developer. Kudos and a big shout out to the efforts for making such an amazing product for us!! One last thing, if you tend to use this app and enjoy it do not forget to leave your experience or comments as it really encourages the developer to make something good imo. Cheers!

・計測中に広告が邪魔しない。
・目盛りのズレがない(13miniでは)。
・アプリアイコンがダサくない(重要)。
の4点を満たせていて重宝してます。

AR計測にも即飛べるのでPro持ちはもっと便利かもしれません。
定規やAR計測の選択が初見だと混乱するかもしれませんが一度わかればすぐ使えます。

Excellent having an old ruler as well as the camera tape measure…. Sets it apart from the built it one! Would quite like an option to change the ruler pips so 16/1 or 8/1 and maybe even have the ruler scrolling for longer objects. But basically for small items it’s pretty nifty! 📏😎👍

I downloaded this when my previous measuring tape app failed to launch. So many others wanted a subscription payment and all I needed was a quick measurement here and there. I think it’s amazing this is offered for free. And in the future I’d be happy to make a one time purchase for a app like this.IMO the number of tool apps looking for subscriptions has gotten ridiculous.
