### 2/5 — Won’t let me sign up

*2026-01-29, version 5.1.24*

Had an account before and wanted to rejoin. Won’t let me sign up and can’t find any way to contact the developer.

### 3/5 — So many bugs. STILL puts annoying Facebook and Twitter comment sections in the rightful place.

*2026-01-23, version 5.1.24*

So many bugs like a lot. But a great concept. I think they need to make it only possible to vote on features if you have a 3 star rating at least. It could make the most critical thinkers vote more prominently i think.

I hope one day… Facebook and twitter will ban politics and religion debating from their site… or create a formal space to do it like this app does. Cuz those debates should flock to a platform like this right now. This app isn’t perfect but oh what a more glorious world social media would be, if people actually took critical thinking seriously, or if debates were separated from our day to day. I’m pretty sure Zuckerberg is working on a Facebook: Debate tab as I speak. Wouldn’t be surprised.

### 2/5 — Notifications bug

*2025-10-05, version 5.1.24*

Can’t use app , it send me to enable notifications, but those are enabled. Probably new iOS hope this is fixed and I’ll check app again. Looks great but not usable.

### 4/5 — Audience is low

*2025-07-08, version 5.1.24*

Wish there was more people! This looks like a good app

### 4/5 — Raw

*2024-11-17, version 5.1.3*

Would be great if we would be able to send photos instead of links when we need to prove a point and removing inactive people would be nice too

### 3/5 — I like it but it definitely needs work

*2024-03-30, version 5.0.5*

I do like a lot of aspects of it but id say they need to switch to more of a matching system, where currently you have to individually start convos with people, they should match people who want to debate the same topic automatically
Additionally their video debates have a similar problem, they search 1 topic at a time and don’t save your preferences like in your profile or something,
The UI is a little clunky, but I really enjoy the idea

### 2/5 — Everything is broken now

*2023-05-22, version 3.5.1*

The only debates are those generated off-top with follower using messaging. If not for that, I’d be gone.

How is it that #1 on the leaderboard is rated 21 out of 5 stars. How did #2 get 7 stars out of 5. And in spite of dozens of invites I’ve initiated and several bout posts, my overall bout tally is stuck where it was in February. I now have over 50 bouts that won’t finalize no matter how many attempts I make to do so. Unlike the previous version, there’s now a 98% non-response rate. That’s rude.

This app had so much promise. What a disappointment…especially after all the time and effort spent to make it better.

Sorry Alex. I really wanted it to be a winner, as did all the other Rumblers from the earlier failed version. We are out here hanging on with the only option as making up our own debate topics to debate with each other. Many of the best debaters have left. Eventually, so will the rest of us. Sad.

### 4/5 — What happened?

*2023-02-07, version 3.4.4*

Since the technical issues that we were told would be fixed in December 2022, the update has nothing but issues. Can’t finalize debates anymore. Can only debate one person per topic now, and that’s it. Something went wrong and ruined a great free speech debate app. Sorry

### 3/5 — So many bugs. STILL puts annoying Facebook and Twitter comment sections in the rightful place.

*2022-10-16*

So many bugs like a lot. But a great concept. I think they need to make it only possible to vote on features bouts if you have a 3 star rating at least. It could make the most critical thinkers vote more prominently i think.

I hope one day… Facebook and twitter will ban politics and religion debating from their site… and that those debates will flock to a platform like this and will stay in one location… this app isn’t perfect but oh what a more glorious world social media would be. **Developer response:** Make social media great again! 😉(we are working on sorting out bugs)

### 4/5 — Much improved. Rumblers more respectful. If only…

*2022-10-09, version 2.2.4*

…there were more new topics. And my FEEDS is still broken. It’s been almost a month now.

Has been a much better experience second time around. However, the rating system is still illogical! It’s not about whether someone’s mind is changed to get 5-stars. It’s about mutual respect and informed interaction. No minds get changed here! C’mon! Not gonna happen! 5-star is exchanging reasons for a point of view. Asking questions that show your interest on the topic. And most important, respectful disagreement and the chance to learn about opposing points of view.

My rating of RUMBLE will be a 5 after my FEEDS is fixed and more topics are added, even if some old stale topics are removed in order to limit the total number of topics. Do this and I’ll consider Rumble to be near perfect.

### 3/5 — Good and bad

*2022-08-18, version 2.2.2*

I love the debating it’s great. I love the fact it’s free speech and can be proven wrong I just do not understand how to get a higher percentage on rumbles. Like if you do well in the debate and finalise it does that mean u lose or so people vote or what’s going onnnnnn hahahahaha

### 1/5 — No login

*2022-08-08, version 2.2.2*

I haven’t been able to login sense the update

### 3/5 — Nobody is active

*2022-06-24, version 2.1.3*

Nobody is active its a great idea but nobody is genuinely active on the app and i can never find people to debate with

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-05-22, version 2.1.3*

So there are some people on here who will start a chat with you, just to call you names and slurs for the position you sided with to argue. If you try to block them or even report them, boom—your chats disappear after. All. Of. Them. I’ve had this happen to me three times now. I’m done with this app. If you can’t use an app and block/report people who misbehave without being punished yourself, not worth using. Find a better debate app.

### 3/5 — Fine but clunky

*2022-03-11, version 2.1.3*

If you’re scrolling through a menu and navigate to a different tab, your scroll position gets reset. Annoying.

### 3/5 — IGNORANCE

*2022-02-20, version 2.1.3*

it’s clear to me that a lot of folks are only getting one side to the story and are willing to debate on their narratives that they believe in instead of looking or listening to actual facts and the data of the TRUTHS!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Didn’t let me sign in

*2026-07-08, version 5.1.24*

I was trying to sign up and every time it would say handshake excpetion: handshake error in iOS or something like that. I made sure my date and time was accurate. That I was connected to wifi. I deleted and re downloaded I don’t get why it isn’t working.

### 1/5 — Too many bugs

*2025-09-29, version 5.1.24*

Very difficult to use because it’s buggy

### 1/5 — Keep asking for notifications permission

*2025-08-17, version 5.1.24*

Or the app refuse to open any previous discussion

### 1/5 — Please fix this bug

*2025-03-30, version 5.1.5*

please fix delete your account button when you press confirm to delete it it don’t respond to it to delete it or when you press cancel to change your mind it don’t cancel out the screen etc.

### 1/5 — Catastrophic update

*2025-02-11, version 5.1.4*

This was always quite a buggy app, but it had a clear and clean UI. The new UI is a mess, making the available debates harder to navigate and more difficult to contribute to. As soon as I can conclude the last couple of live debates I have running, I will sadly be deleting what had been a fun debating app.

### 1/5 — Impossible To Get A Debate

*2025-02-08, version 5.1.4*

Literally no player base I never get matchmaking for anything

### 1/5 — This app requires access to files and media on your device for no reason.

*2024-12-10, version 5.1.3*

If you try to do a video debate with microphone and video enabled the app still doesn’t let you. It requires access to your personal data with no further explanation. Seems extremely nefarious.

### 1/5 — So, It’s an Ideological Echo-Chamber

*2024-07-25, version 5.1.3*

People collecting to engage in ideologically reinforcing their dogmatic beliefs isn’t really intellectually useful. It’s actually cowardly. Pass.

### 1/5 — Complete garbage

*2024-05-09, version 5.0.8*

It won’t even let me log in. It just says “ Something went wrong” without giving me any useful information. Developers: please find a different hobby.

### 1/5 — Nothing happens

*2023-07-02, version 3.5.1*

No one used it

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It’s great

*2025-01-24, version 5.1.3*

There’s still some bugs and not enough people but I love the concept and believe it will get better. Definitely something we need in our divisive social media culture to combat the growing extremism. Except I wish there was a way to see who is online when starting and/or filter out the debates that didn’t go anywhere from the feed.

### 5/5 — Very good app but 1 ask

*2023-02-17, version 3.4.4*

Please please PLEASE Add a website for this app. Otherwise I love this app & the debating and ideas that this app allows people to share with each other

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2023-01-17, version 3.4.4*

Tbh it’s not perfect but that’s not the apps fault thus I still give it 5 stars if this gets adds on TikTok it will blow up it will fix its own problem being that there’s not many people

### 5/5 — Issues fixed

*2022-05-31, version 2.1.3*

It’s so much faster now! Well done to the devs, I had stopped using it because it was too slow but now it’s so speedy!

### 5/5 — None

*2022-02-11, version 2.1.3*

If I ever learn to hit the right buttons I will enjoy debating political issues.

### 5/5 — Civil debates are what we all need. Not toxic

*2021-11-02, version 2.1.3*

Good app for anyone willing to have a civilized debate with ppl of differing opinions

### 5/5 — This is so much better then facebook

*2021-10-13, version 2.1.3*

You can talk to people with sim

### 5/5 — Love this

*2021-10-08, version 2.1.3*

This app is a way to have a very good discussion with somebody about a topic that you may disagree on but it is all done out of kindness and I love that because you don’t get so much of that anymore

### 5/5 — Glad I found this

*2021-09-11, version 2.1.3*

Awesome app for debates! Had some good conversations and look forward to more!

### 5/5 — Best debate app EVER

*2021-09-09, version 2.1.3*

Really glad I found this amazing debate app, the debates are important and informative. The layout made it easy to use and had the best topics that were relevant to today’s atmosphere.
