Over half the time you get paired against “real players” with legendary units so don’t ever expect to be able to beat them and when you do “win” a match it seems like it’s most likely against a bot that is meant to keep you engaged and playing. Unless you plan on dropping some cash on this don’t expect to have any real fun or progress. Sad to see another game where the new units they release are completely broken out the door. Shame on these devs. ### 2/5 — New Update Soon? *2024-05-14* Ummmm, so what happened? Did everyone quit? Are the devs taking a month off? I’ve really liked paying this game. Don’t mind paying the $10 for the Rumble pass. But for what should have been a new one a few days ago, is now almost 2 months away?!? I’ve been maxed out for days. Also, no events? No double mana, sudden death? Did y’all cash the check and take off? If I wrote this review a month or 2 ago I’ve given 5 stars and now I’m feeling generous giving 2. ### 4/5 — What happened? *2024-04-27, version 1.5.3* Where are the other events? Their used to be more events like double mana and other fun things. I haven’t seen them in some time now…… ### 1/5 — Used to be 5* *2024-03-24, version 1.5.3* This game used to be a solid 5*, however they have stopped caring and massively upped the pay to win. They removed rare cards from the monthly rewards, and charge a crazy amount of money for characters now. They shadow ban you from co-op even when it’s their servers that crash rather than inactivity. Support chat is no existent. Can’t even be bothered to run weekly events. Not worth it anymore. ### 2/5 — Hello?!? *2024-03-07* I have been playing this game for months and have enjoyed it quite well. Until today. Played like normal this morning and everything seemed fine. Wanted to open the app to get new quests and stuff around noon. Wouldn’t load. At all. Turned off wifi, deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing. At all. It was a little glitchy yesterday as in I’d try to play co-op and then it would shut down or wouldn’t load. Once it did actually load, I lost a co-op game play, because of course 🙄now, I have nothing. Says something about not connecting to server. What happened?!? BUT… *2024-02-26, version 1.5.2* Been playing for a good amount of time now and absolutely love the concept of everything it has to offer. Unfortunately there is a system in place to prevent people from affecting others during co-op such as going AFK etc. I fully support this logic but once you have progressed to a point that you have no actions to make or it would be unwise to make you get penalties for inactivity therefor resulting in bans from 1 day up to 7 days from personal experience. The main issue I have is the fact if you try to contact their support in order to resolve this you get absolutely ZERO 0 response and have to wait out a ban… for some people who have spent money on micro transactions this is absolutely outrageous and it ruins the whole vibe. I do recommend the game on an overall basis but GOD THIS ISSUE NEEDS FIXING!! Good luck to everyone playing hope to play with some of you in time (4 days remaining on current ban) 😡 ### 1/5 — Gone downhill RAPIDLY… Greedy developers *2024-02-07, version 1.5.2* I played this game for nearly 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommended it for friends and couldn’t sing it’s praises enough. A couple of months ago there was an update that completely changed the reward system. Now it’s virtually pointless. Daily rewards slashed. Ways of obtaining new players went from chests and bonuses to pay to win only… There is virtually no reason for me to play this anymore. What a waste of a good game. Extremely disappointed with the developers. The drop in player numbers must be evident to them. It now can take minutes to find a player, rather than seconds a few months ago. Goodbye Rumble Rivals… ### 2/5 — Co-op banning is very annoying *2024-02-05, version 1.5.2* Warning players about being idle in co-op and then banning people for being warned about it is very very annoying. What happens when there’s literally nothing else you can do? You can’t merge, you can’t upgrade…so what are you supposed to do? Instead, you should give us the ability to delete units from the board, or merge two level 6’s together to create one new level 6 unit. You guys haven’t thought this feature through. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2024-02-02* Update: since my last review I’m changing it to a one star since they continue to not let us play with friends in co-op. WHY DO WE HAVE FRIENDS ON THIS GAME IF WE CANT PLAY WITH THEM. Completely trash that they did that. There’s a few issues I have with this game.. Even tho it’s a “free” to play game you are not advancing or unlocking gold characters, unless you buy the rumble pass. It makes NO SENSE how I can lose a battle and lose 40+ plus points but NEVER have I won more then 31 points. Make that make sense? How can I lose over 40 but can never gain that. I don’t know what type of algorithm they use, but I can use the same board and be doing great and then out of nowhere lose 5 to 6 games and lose so much progress. It makes me not want to play anymore because now I have to win all those games back and then more just to unlock something. FIX THIS ### 2/5 — Ohne Echtgeld kein Vorrankommen *2024-01-19* Leider ist es bei dem Spiel nicht möglich ordentlich voranzukommen. Die Belohnungen für Koop-Kämpfe sind lächlich gering und man kommt zu wenig Schlüssel für die Wellen. Dann wurde es jetzt angepasst das man nur noch 5 Kämpfe machen kann. Man kann sich die goldenen Karten ganz ganz schlecht erspielen wenn man kein Echtgeld einsetzt. Und die Preise für in Gamekäufe sind einfach unverschämt und extrem übertrieben teuer!! Am Anfang macht es Spaß aber dann kommt schnell Frust auf weil einfach nicht mehr weiter kommt wenn man kein Geld einsetzt. Schade aber so habe ich das Spiel wieder gelöscht. So eine Unverschämtheit und extrem überteuerte Preispolitik unterstütze ich nicht! I spent a decent amount of money and when I decided to buy battle pass tiers which cost “100 gems per tier” I was charged 250 gems per tier. By the time I noticed all my gems were gone and I wasn’t able to make it to the tier I desired. Kinda the same as rush royale, which is also the problem. You can IMMEDIATELY just buy packs at $60USD that makes you be able to freely skip a huge part of the grind. Co-op is majority just bots that ruin the match because they are useless. That’s on top of only getting 5 co-op chances a day unless you watch an ad. You NEVER get any good cards out of the grind. 100% have to buy them. The game freezes/glitches all the time. Lord forbid you turn up/down the volume or get a text message or something, prepare for the game to just lose its mind. TLDR: Pay to win. Game time is limited as you have to watch ads to play more. No update in over 5 months, and it shows. Game had great potential but has been turned into a “buy everything or don’t play” so the game is dead. ### 1/5 — Got banned *2025-01-02, version 1.5.5* Can’t see playing this game again after getting banned from playing co-op for a week for inactive play when I wasn’t inactive, but maybe you can look at the match I was playing immediately before I was banned so you don’t do this to anyone else. ### 1/5 — Underwhelming units, Trash RNG *2025-01-01, version 1.5.5* The units are exactly that, totally underwhelming and the RNG is appalling. Worst RNG I have ever seen and I’ve played ALOT of games based on it. Also the game lags out every 10 or so minutes and crash’s every 20-30 minutes. Frustrating and totally unoptimised. And the price of the packs is WAY EXPENSIVE!! A very poor attempt to copy rush Royale, epic fail. Weird.. I have many more examples of weird coincidences, which I don’t believe in, but i don’t feel like wasting any additional time on this app. Fun game, sort of. However, there are many bugs that are not addressed which is ruining the game play, such as the time mage in co op mode will hurt your ally if the switch boss activates instead of helping your ally. Another instance is the robot not increasing attack speed with star level up. I’ve reached out for many many many glitches without any response and no fix within the game. It’s very unfortunate as this game is dynamic and could be fun had the developers addressed bugs and communicated within the response system appropriately to users instead of ghosting them. Your actions show you do not care about your app and certainly do not care about your users. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good Game *2024-11-29, version 1.5.5* I am happy with the new matching system. I have seen some untrusted reviews, it is true that game has been changed and it is harder now to get Legendary units. There’s some options to get legendary units: 1. Buy in app if you don’t want to wait 2. Play Co-Op and save coins(from time to time you can buy a legendary unit for 40.000 coins), for every level passed on Co-op you get some keys(40 keys to open a chest,where is a small chance 0.1% to get a legendary unit). For developers: it should be in game an option where you cab write an idea. For example: on the main screen a chat where players can interact. Some tournaments for coins or chests(buy in 100-1000 coins 4-6-8+ players, first 2 places to get rewards or some tournaments with prizes in gems to be able to play often that 100 gems buy in for a chance to get a legendary unit after 12 wins. It takes like 2 weeks to save 100 gems. P.S. I have tried some games similar with this one, this is the best. I gave them 1 star a year ago, now they deserve maximum. ### 5/5 — Help!! *2024-04-08, version 1.5.3* I love the game and love to play it every day.
