First, I had to change the file to a txt document type and then copy & paste to the app’s adif section. Second, I had to hand correct multiple mistakes. Even though my adif file was in a folder on iCloud, the app did not recognize it. Once all my files were corrected, I had hoped to export my new RUMlog as an adif file. Great program, easy to use and navigate. Auf zwei Email's wurde nicht reagiert. Danke für ihre Ignoranz. **Developer response:** Falsche App bewertet? Diese App ist kein DX-Cluster, kann aber eine Verbindung zu selbigen herstellen. Für die Auswahl eines geeigneten Clusters und dem Zugang zum DX-Cluster ist schon jeder Nutzer selber verantwortlich. No instructions, and has features which are pointless unless you have a Kx3 or 817! Will use a pen and notepad as it's all I need, not this useless nonsense. ### 1/5 — Not user-friendly *2018-10-02* This is a very difficult Logbook program in terms of being user-friendly. More testing is needed for the iPhone platform. More ease in importing and exporting adi files., ie.,setting-up new files, creating new logs, and better documentation, case in point, locator characters must be in all caps when editing and saving a record for updating in the RUMlogNG app. Backward compatibility with other logging software should be considered. ### 2/5 — Date and time (UTC) fields *2026-04-26* As of April 2026, this logging software does not function properly. I used this product over 5 years, and logged thousands of QSOs. I use this software on an iPhone16 Pro Max. There are no problems with the. iPhone. I’ve never had any problems until I updated to version 7.0.2 WA3GOS **Developer response:** If there are problems with an app, please contact the author directly and immediately! The reviews here are not read or only with a very long time delay. ### 3/5 — I like it! *2024-02-13* Good little app. I’ve now finally moved away from my Google spreadsheet to keep a record of my QSOs! A couple of suggestions: It would be great to be able to search your logbook by other criteria such as first name or town. Would also be good if it could flash up a first name when you add a call sign to the log to indicate that you’ve spoken to a contact before. Really like this app. Thanks, Dev! ### 3/5 — Pesky rate me *2017-08-04* I've been using the app less than five minutes and it's prompted me for a rating three times. FFS, please give me a chance to use it! In those five minutes I see some useful functionality but it's just a bit off. For example there is an option to import from Dropbox but this doesn't actually import an ADIF - that's further down on the settings. I think it's meant for the database? maybe use the file extension and make it generic? After importing I hoped to see QSOs on the map but it's only showing my point and the region lines. It's not zoomable. Will spend more time playing with it. **Developer response:** According the documentation from Apple you may be asked for a review three times a year only as maximum. Layout is nice as well. Three feature requests that would be awesome 1) if you could add the K4D as an option to the list of rigs for TRX Control. 2) Add the AMP KPA1500, and 3) Add the RT21-D Rotor Control. I know space is limited, but that would be awesome if somehow you could figure out how to do that. Anfänglich hatte ich diverse Abstürze, was sich aber seit den ersten QSO-Einträgen nicht mehr wiederholt hat. Daher jetzt die Korrektur auf 5 Sterne. I have this on my iPad and iPhone and while there are subtle differences between the two devices both work well out in the field operating portable. Love that! ### 5/5 — Perfekte mobile Lösung *2021-04-09* Ich nutze RumlogNG auf meinem MacBook und Rumlog2go auf meinem iPad für mobilen und portablen Betrieb. Als TRX für unterwegs benutze ich einen ICOM IC-705, welcher perfekt und zuverlässig über BlueTooth angebunden ist, somit kann ich perfekt portable ohne viel Kabelgedöns arbeiten. Die synchronisation mit dem MacBook verläuft zuverlässig über die iCloud. Für mich eine perfekte Lösung!
