## What is Rummy 500?

Rummy 500 (sometimes known as 500 Rum, Pinochle Rummy, Persian Rummy or 500 Rummy) is the classic skill based strategy card game you can enjoy offline against smart AI, online with players from around the world, or in private games play with friends and family.

Rummy 500 brings a classic card game experience built around sets, runs, sequences, and smart decisions. Reach 500 total net points by creating valid melds and managing every card you draw. Play Rummy against AI when you want a challenging solo session without an internet connection. Choose offline play for relaxed matches or online games when you want to compete with other players. The standard 52-card pack creates familiar gameplay while giving every round a different challenge. Build sets of three or four cards with the same number and create runs of three or more cards in the same suit.

Carefully watch the discard pile because the right card can complete your next sequence. Draw from the stock or take a card from deeper in the discard pile when the opportunity is worth the risk. When taking from the discard pile, all cards above your selected card must be collected. The selected card must immediately become part of a set or be laid off on an existing set. Lay down your melds during your turn and add suitable cards to combinations already on the table.Aces can work high or low, but sequences cannot go around the corner from King to Ace to 2. Every card placed on the table can increase your score, while cards left in your hand can reduce it The round ends as soon as a player gets rid of all their cards, making the timing of your final move important. The first player to reach a net score of +500 wins the match. If several players reach the target during the same hand, the highest final score determines the winner.

Too many ads!! Geesh you play one game and you have to watch an ad. And the game moves very, very slow.

After playing for a few days here are the things I learned that the game could improve upon. 

1. TIME LIMIT

Increase the time limit to 30 - 60 seconds or give the capability of removing the time limit for custom games.

Also right at the 3 second left mark of the 15 seconds, you cannot discard so it’s like 12 seconds to discard really. Not sure if that’s a glitch. 

2. PLAYING MELDS
Playing on other people’s melds without having anything laid out of your own isn’t really fair and could make the game more fun if there’s say a 30 point “go-out” meld where you need 30 points of your own before you can play on others’ melds. 

3. COINS
Making it 5000 per game loses players because NOONE wants to watch literally 5 mins of ads. To keep players, make it 1000 per game or lower. It’s just ridiculous and the biggest flaw and reason for lack of retention.

4. EVERYTHING IS TOO SMALL 

Make it so you can rotate the phone to increase the size of everything. I’ve fat fingered cards more times than I can count and I’m 150 lbs with skinny fingers and an iPhone 14 Pro. It should be easy to place stuff, pickup and discard. 


That’s all I can see for right now I’ll keep playing. Hopefully some changes get made. It’s a good game, could be great.

This was a decent game until the latest update. Suddenly there is no off-line play. Everything involves bets.

I cannot find a way to get to the app developer concerning inconsistencies. When playing off-line game, the bot will pick up two or more cards and rarely play the last card picked up. It also throws cards that would fit into their hand. The game itself is good but not great.  It could be so much better if these bugs were taken care of.
