## What is Run by Heart Rate?

Splitcast runs your interval session out loud. Press Start, put your phone in your pocket, and it tells you every step, every split and every pace correction over your music.

Built for runners who follow a plan: track repeats, tempo runs, fartlek, ladders, or whatever your coach wrote down this week.

VOICE CUES OVER YOUR MUSIC
Splitcast speaks each step as it begins, with its goal and its target. It calls the halfway point, counts down the final seconds, and nudges you with "speed up" or "ease off" when you drift off your target pace. If a step targets a heart rate zone, it tells you when you are over, under, or back in the zone. Music dips while a cue plays and comes straight back. Every cue type is switchable, and you can set how often pace alerts repeat.

HEART RATE, SPOKEN
Connect an Apple Watch through Apple Health, or any Bluetooth heart-rate sensor: chest straps and arm bands, or a watch broadcasting its heart rate (Garmin, Suunto, Polar, COROS, WHOOP). Splitcast reads your live BPM, tells you which zone you are in, and says so when you drift out of it. Runs without a sensor work exactly the same, minus the heart rate.

BUILD A WORKOUT, OR IMPORT ONE
Start from a template (Track Repeats, Tempo, Fartlek, Pyramid, Ladder, Easy Run) or build one from scratch: a warm up, sets of repeats with a time or distance goal, a target pace with a tolerance or a heart rate zone or bpm range, a recovery step, and a cool down.

If your coach keeps your plan in a spreadsheet, paste a link to it, or paste the rows straight in. Splitcast parses while you type, previews what it found grouped by day, and lists any row it had to skip and why. Turn on Keep in sync and the plan reloads whenever you open Workouts, so a session your coach moved or deleted moves or disappears here too.

THE RUN ITSELF
A full-screen session with the current step, what is coming next, live pace, your target, distance, elapsed time and heart rate with its zone. Pace and distance come from GPS in the background, so the cues keep coming with your screen locked and your phone in a pocket.

AFTERWARDS
A summary with total time, distance, average pace, average heart rate, your route and a split for every step. History keeps this week's runs, distance and time, then every run you have saved, each with its route. Completed runs can be written to Apple Health as running workouts.

PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
No account, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising. Your workouts, runs, routes and heart rate stay on your iPhone.

Kilometres or miles. English or German, with the voice cues in either language independent of the app.
