It didn’t it wasn’t the thing that I was kind of looking for I was I wish that it was so you could just have a gap for your line instead of having to speed through with gaps because it says my line too quickly in that so if you the developers see this and I hope you couldn’t look at that and try and do something like that I don’t know but I think overall it was quite great. I had to end up deleting it because there was I didn’t have enough lines. I had too many lines in it and the eight recordings weren’t enough for me and I still haven’t found a good rehearsing app for it so if you could fix those three things, I would absolutely give it a ### 3/5 — I would pay but I can’t! *2026-06-20, version 8.2* Useful app for drilling lines as I go on my runs - I would upgrade for more recordings but the app won’t let me, which is a shame! ### 2/5 — It’s not great *2026-06-07, version 8.2* Don’t get me wrong I absolutely loved it to start with as it really helped young actors like me memorise there lines but as soon as I got up to two recordings which were two minuets each it didn’t let me do anymore and said that I had to pay to do more recordings I found that thoroughly stupid as when I looked at it it said “a fun free way to memorise lines “ I would love this to be changed because it is really hard to memorise and it was a great idea until paying came in which I will refuse to do ! ### 4/5 — Wow this is a game changer *2026-05-30, version 8.2* At first, I wasn’t using this to learn my lines for the play. I’m currently in. It’s my first time in a play and once someone introduced me to this wow it’s amazing! Tried resting and haven’t found a fix ### 4/5 — A great tool, but missing one feature *2026-04-24, version 8.2* I initially purchased the app as a one-time forever payment, and got notified yesterday that it’s now subscription based and I have to continuously pay for it. If that’s the case, I’d like to request a feature that the app has always been missing: normal speed with gaps. This would allow me to rehearse movement and blocking, which is difficult to do with the only current “with gaps” option, which is sped up too fast to incorporate movement. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Almost great *2026-02-28, version 7.5* Very useful app and definitely the least buggy one out there for learning lines. But it’s just a couple settings short of being great and they’re both about playback: Firstly, you can play it back a number of ways but if you just want gaps for your lines (so it doesn’t repeat your line), you can only do it at a faster speed. Why can’t I do it at the same speed that I recorded? It seems bizarre to me to not have that option. Secondly, I mainly use this to learn for auditions and tapes so I’m always reading by myself, so it gets hard to distinguish between which is my character and others when I’m learning it. Whereas other apps (OffBook! e.g) offer a ‘cue my line’ option, where it will play a ding when it’s your line. I was halfway through a tape when I realised there was a line that I thought was mine, but I had learnt the start of the other character’s line. So unless they bring this option in, maybe consider getting another reader for any other characters. All in all it is good, but could be great. ### 5/5 — Perfect app *2026-02-13, version 7.5* "Run Lines With Me" is exactly how I would have built an actor's app. The 3 playback versions are exactly what I need. The simplicity of this app is it it’s all you. It was perfect for me as I was riding my bike a lot and I would learn my lines at the same time. I have used this for many productions now and it has been huge for me. If I could get one feature added it would be to loop all recordings in a folder. What they don’t say is if there are technical glitches likes you can’t hear what you recorded no matter how you adjust it and delete to re-record, you LOSE the free subscription of 10 and it goes to 9 then 8 each time you delete a recording that doesn’t work. Very frustrating. After you use up the ten non working slots it refuses to go until you pay. How can i pay for something that doesn’t even work in free mode?! It appears to record but doesn’t play back! Checked my volume for sound it’s fine. It just doesn’t play back this. It asked me to access my microphone and i clicked accept.
