### 1/5 — :(

*2021-11-20, version 1.2.36*

I used to love this game but I recently re download it again and I got through one level and now I have to pay to play the rest :(

### 1/5 — Huh???

*2021-07-12, version 1.2.36*

I’ve had this game when i was younger and you didn’t have to join anything before. why tf do you have to join a “gameclub” in order to play. that makes no damn sense

### 1/5 — Run too run

*2021-06-06*

I hate how it makes me pay and do game club

### 1/5 — This is ridiculous

*2021-04-27*

I remember playing this game as a kid, and it hold so much nostalgia for me and so i searched it up today to play it. I was so dissapointed that you had to buy a subscription to play the game, gameclub has completely ruined this game. Its not fair that you have to pay five dollars a month to play this game, and i doubt anyone is going to pay that much.

### 1/5 — Used to be Fun

*2020-11-03*

Remember when this game didn’t spam you with ads and you could play without having to pay $60 a month? You can’t even pass world one without it.

**Developer response:** Everyone who bought our games previously should continue to have full access to the game without starting a subscription. However, in the case of Run Roo Run, it is no longer possible to detect a previous purchase automatically. Please write us at support@gameclub.io to get it straightened out.

### 1/5 — change rhe game

*2020-09-01, version 1.2.22*

i liked it before u could play all levels but now you ruined it

### 1/5 — No one will ever pay 🤬😡

*2020-08-07*

I love this game but it’s not worth paying a monthly bill so please make it free there’s no point wanna make money make items that cost money but don’t make all the levels paid to win

**Developer response:** Though full access is only included with a subscription, we're committed to letting everyone "try before you buy" — to play enough to get a sense of the game free of charge. We also offer a free trial (that you can cancel at any time) so you can play as many of the games in our library as much as you want before spending any money.
Thanks for playing, and hope you take a look at our other titles to give them a try!

### 1/5 — It’s bad

*2020-05-06, version 1.2.22*

I used to play this game 7 years ago on my nan iPad. And for nostalgia I purchased it today only to hop in and find dozens of excuses to pay for a monthly subscription. It pains me that society is starting to join a world where everything requires a monthly payment. I swear there’s no such thing as pay once things anymore.

### 1/5 — Make it free!!😡( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

*2020-04-09*

This game used to be great But the devs ruined it. When I was six I used to love this game and I beat the whole game in seven months but my old iPad broke so I got a phone and tried to download it so I did today and it was shocking to see that you have to pay for the levels now

**Developer response:** Everyone who bought any of our games previously should continue to have full access to the game without starting a subscription. However, in some cases it is no longer possible to detect a previous purchase. If you once purchased this game on the App Store, please write us at support@gameclub.io to get it straightened out.

### 1/5 — You have to pay, not worth the download

*2020-03-07*

Today I was sitting with my sister, and I asked her if she remembered this game about a kangaroo who had to save the other kangaroo. She said yes, so we looked it up, found the game, downloaded it, and you have to pay for it. I’m sorry, but nobody, absolutely nobody is going to pay for a game like this. Maybe a ad thing, but the whole game? Really?

**Developer response:** GameClub offers all-you-can-play access to a large library of curated games, including Run Roo Run — hundreds of dollars worth of titles within the single subscription.

Everyone who bought our games previously should continue to have full access to the game without starting a subscription. However, in the case of Run Roo Run, it is no longer possible to detect a previous purchase automatically. Please write us at support@gameclub.io to get it straightened out.

### 1/5 — seriously

*2020-01-03, version 1.2.21*

Why do I have to join this thing to play??

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2019-11-26*

Game club ruined it. This was a great game, but now it’s horrible. I used to play this game a lot on an iPad. Now I’m on a different Apple ID and I can’t play this game :(

**Developer response:** I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble unlocking your game — in the case of Run Roo Run, it is no longer possible to detect a previous purchase automatically. Please write us at support@gameclub.io with a copy of your receipt and we'll get you playing in no time.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2019-10-26*

It used to be good but now they make you pay for the game with a subscription service, which is the dumbest thing ever. I’m not paying that much for a game that used to be free

**Developer response:** Everyone who bought this game prior to this update will continue to have full access (with no ads, banners, etc.) without starting a subscription. Unfortunately, we are sometimes unable to automatically detect a previous purchase and need to go through a few steps to verify. Once a purchase is verified, you will no longer see any subscription messaging or ads for GameClub.

### 1/5 — Who Approved Of This?

*2024-12-13*

To put it simply, I used to play Run Roo Run in the past on an older device, but I never beat the game due to how difficult it was for me as a kid and not an adult like I am now, but upon seeing it wasn't in any of the apps me or my family had previously downloaded, I searched it up in the app store, and there it was. It seemed to have a new name in the title though when it autofilled in the Search Bar, but I tapped it anyway, only to download the game and be met with something popping up and overlaying the nostalgic title screen, and it requests me to make a subscription just to play the game.

Whoever did this needs to back off on childhood favorite games, like if a fun game I used to play as a kid like Jetpack Joyride or Colossatron suddenly asked me to hecking play the game EXCLUSIVELY via a subscription first instead of just letting me play the game like before, then I'd never play it again.

This is NOT how you gain fans on the internet. Way to pull a 'Nintendo', and end up putting everything behind a payment of some kind, like DLC or the subscription for Nintendo Switch Online. It's absurd and only drives once-dedicated fans like me away, but that's different because it isn't from a game I had previously gotten before, and it doesn't force me to pay upfront instead of letting me just play half of the game and lock the rest behind a one-time payment that's accessible with a 'restore purchases' option manually and/or automatically without having me reach out directly to the current owners of the app using my personal information that I'm pretty much giving them if I had typed up a complain to them. (Like my Email Address, because I consider that personal information.)

### 1/5 — Very Disappointed

*2024-06-10, version 1.2.36*

When I was around 6-8 years old, I would play this game all the time. I would play it with my brothers and my dad as well, and we would see who could beat the game faster. We were in traffic the other day, and I came across the game again. We were all so exited to play, but found out that you need to have a monthly $10.00 subscription to play past chapter one. This just makes me upset, and I really wish that I could play the rest. It literally took me only ten minutes to finish. I wish that they would change this somehow.

### 1/5 — Game is completely unplayable

*2024-04-29*

Won’t even connect to the subscription servers anymore.

### 1/5 — Why why why

*2024-04-18*

Used to play this game as a super young kid and wanted to revisit it for old times sake. I have no clue why you would block it with a paywall. My day is ruined. It is not worth your dollar.

### 1/5 — Gameclub doesn’t work

*2024-03-29*

This subscription thing doesn’t even work it just took my money what a waste

### 1/5 — its very disappointing

*2022-10-16*

like everyone else here, i also played this as a kid, finished the whole game and today i came back for the memories after finally finding it and was very disappointed and sad to see how you guys sold out i guess, i just wish to play again:( very sad

### 1/5 — should have a one time purchase

*2022-09-24, version 1.2.36*

when i was younger i remember i just had to pay a dollar or two to play. why do i have to pay five dollars a month now? i don’t want to access all of gameclub.

### 1/5 — So sad

*2022-09-07, version 1.2.36*

Gotta pay like £5 a month, Game completely ruined from when I remember it from my childhood, such a shame.

### 1/5 — Gameclub ruined our childhood

*2022-04-13*

When I was a kid, you could play the entire game, BUT FREE. Now it’s a subscription to some random company who ruins peoples childhood so you can’t even play past chapter one without paying, I will never be paying for something that should be free

### 1/5 — Why?

*2022-01-26*

I used to love playing this game many years ago, and I would download it back every now and then to play the levels through again because it was nostalgic and fun, so I had the idea of showing this game to my girlfriend today bc I thought she would think it is a cute game with cute kangaroos, but then i found out that you have to pay to get access to the last 19 out of 20 chapters of the game?! Not cool☹️ I just wanted to play a fun childhood game with my gf☹️

### 5/5 — Nostalgia

*2020-10-17*

I remember playing this as a child and I randomly remembered it. But now you have to pay to get past Chapter 1 ;( I just wanted some nostalgia;(

### 5/5 — This game is fun kinda

*2020-08-29, version 1.2.22*

This game is fun but you have to pay money to get unlimited gameplay for some reason like I just downloaded this game and already asked me for one to play chapter 2 soo that means you can only play chapter 1 which is boring but I do like the music

### 5/5 — Superjfjgohlc

*2020-08-25*

Absolutely the most superb game to have ever angered my hands

### 5/5 — ;)))))

*2020-08-25*

Absolutely brilliant

### 5/5 — Such a cute game 🥰

*2020-06-12*

Lovely puzzle platformer. Gets really hard later on but lot of variety in levels 👍🏻 bummer that the bonus levels disappeared though

### 5/5 — My kids love this!

*2020-06-12*

We had a blast playing this together.

### 2/5 — Subscription-based :(

*2021-10-26, version 1.2.36*

This is the only game in the whole subscription I want to play, and I have to pay way more than I did for the original RRR. Luckily, I still have access to the original somehow so >:)
