## What is Run the Globe?

The concept of "Run the Globe" originates from a desire to infuse excitement and playfulness into the monitoring of sports activities. Run the globe invites you to embark on a personal journey, encouraging you to discover new places while engaging in competitions with friends or family to claim territories worldwide.

Run the Globe is all about conquering territory. You claim territory by tracking your activities in Strava. When you have tracked your activity in Strava it is automatically converted to territory in your battles and personal world in Run the Globe.

When playing with others, you can take over their territory by tracking an activity in the same area. Remember, they can do the same to you, so be on edge.

This release adds the option of inviting other players to join battles by code.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-11

Team Battles - Battles now have a team mode. Instead of every player fighting for themselves, you can divide into teams and compete together for territory — coordinate your attacks, share the map, and climb the leaderboard as one.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-29

Profile pictures - Pick a photo straight from your phone and set it as your profile picture.

Let others invite - When you create a battle you'll find a new Battle Settings step with an "Allow other players to invite" toggle, so everyone in the battle can bring their friends along, not just the owner.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-04-23
