Won’t track runs. It will start a story and then once the first song track plays, it doesn’t continue. Very buggy in the set up as well (had to restart the app 2 times to get it to register an account). ### 1/5 — AI Generated Art *2025-01-29* I understand that AI makes things easier and I am not against using it but AI art is unforgivable. I am not giving money to devs that can’t hire humans for actual good art work. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2024-07-25* This app simply doesn’t work. You have to make an account to start. Then you login and try to do the quest and nothing happens. The “Begin Quest” button has a “Something went wrong. Try again” label but it just continues to do nothing. I have logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app nothing changes. Same error, and when you try to go to your account to delete it you can’t because nothing will load. That’s frustrating. ### 5/5 — Let’s be honest, workouts are hard. *2022-09-02* (Update 3 still doesn’t work. Still have adds and still have to wait for new episodes even though I paid. I love this app but it seems a bit buggy). (Update 2: Still no email from the company but after posting this review, issues with adds and payment are suddenly better. And all content is available. Maybe it takes longer than 48 hours to take effect or maybe someone fixed something. 🤷🏽‍♀️) (Update. I paid for a premium account so I didn’t have to wait for a week to get new workouts and didn’t have to look at the rare adds, but the app is not reflecting it. I’ve reached out to their help team this morning but no word yet. ) Especially if you’re out of shape like I am and trying to get back into at least decent shape. I was trying to find something to occupy my mind while I walk. This app. I was grinning like a fool the whole time I was walking. Even ran a bit when the Knight said to run! In shape I am not, but working out with this app made me want to do more so I could find out what happened in the story. I’m going to start paying for a subscription because I want so much more and don’t want to wait. I want the developer to know I love this app, and I will pay for more. This is the only thing that has actually made me want to workout more. I worked out for an hour the first day, then wanted to know what happened so much that I took an extra walk in the afternoon. You only get three free episodes and one episode per week after that. I even did the lockdown workout. (Which I absolutely hate doing those kinds of workouts, but I was laughing through it because the tone of the bard, teasing, taunting and encouraging was hilarious to me.) If you like stories, plot and substance I highly recommend this app. You can adapt it to any workout routine. Also the ability to listen to music in between the storytelling is amazing! The story comes in every few minutes, and you listen to your own music in between.
