## What is Run to the Moon!?

Run to the Moon! turns your everyday runs and walks into a shared mission.
Every workout you log doesn't just track your own progress — it adds to one global total, shared by every person using the app. Watch a rocket climb from Earth toward the Moon as the community's combined distance grows, passing real milestones along the way: the edge of space, the ISS, geostationary orbit, and finally the Moon itself.
• Automatic syncing — connect Apple Health once and your runs and walks count automatically, no manual logging
• Real checkpoints — track progress through actual space distances, from the Kármán line to lunar orbit
• One shared goal — no leaderboards to grind, just a community total everyone contributes to
• Simple by design — sign in with Apple, pick an optional username, and start moving
Whether you're training for a race or just walking the dog, every meter helps get us closer to the Moon.

### 5/5 — Galaxies Beyond Other Running Apps

*2026-07-15*

I’m an avid runner and a lot of apps just track runs individually. Sure you can see splits and pace and total miles run, but I want a larger goal. I thought about it recently actually. How many miles have I run in my entire life? And then I was browsing the App Store for something to inspire me and I found Run to the Moon. I immediately downloaded it and started to begin my journey to be the first on the moon and plant my stinky shoe on the surface of this rock in space. Thanks to the creator of this app for thinking outside the box and making running a long term goal, while making it fun. 🫡🇺🇸🌕
