## What is RunChamps?

**RunChamps** is a running analysis app for iPhone that analyzes your existing runs from Apple Health locally on your device. There is no login, no account, no cloud, and no server connection. All calculations and views run directly on your iPhone.

### What you can do with RunChamps

* Import runs from Apple Health and view them in a clear, structured way
* Overview with a map of your start locations, key metrics (distance, runs, countries, elevation gain), and recent runs
* Calendar heatmap showing at a glance on which days you ran
* Analysis by countries and places, including filters for distance and elevation gain
* Detailed view per run with route map, distance, duration, pace, speed, elevation gain, and optional average heart rate
* Kilometer splits including pace, km/h, and elevation gain per split
* Effort view: uphill sections are weighted with an additional “effort distance” to make runs with elevation more comparable
* Timeline view with start, running segments, pauses, and end
* Optional: select photos for a run and create a shareable image (for example for social media), including a crop preview

### Privacy and data processing

* No login: no account is required
* No servers: the app does not send running data to any server and does not require a cloud connection
* Local processing: import, analysis, maps, and statistics are processed locally on your iPhone
* Health access: RunChamps reads running workouts from Apple Health only. If available, route and heart rate data are also used to display pace, splits, elevation gain, and optional heart rate values
* Photos are optional: access to photos is only required if you choose to create a share image. The app works fully without photo access
* Sharing is optional: when you create a share image, you decide where to share it. The app does not share anything automatically

### Permissions explained briefly

* Apple Health: required to import and analyze your running workouts
* Photos: optional, only for creating share images

### Note

RunChamps is an analysis tool. All values are based on data stored in Apple Health and its quality (for example GPS accuracy and sensor data). Use at your own discretion.
