## What is RuneGrid?

RuneGrid is an offline tactical board game built around quick decisions, chip placement, and boss battles.
Each run starts with a simple loop: spin three symbol chips, choose one, place it on the 5x5 board, and trigger its skill. Attack the boss, break armor, block incoming strikes, collect Coins, clear corrupted cells, and survive before your Energy runs out or Threat reaches its limit.
Every chip has a clear role. Move Chips deal steady damage, Hack Chips break armor, Shield Chips protect your run, Coin Chips boost rewards, Relic Chips charge powerful effects, Glitch Chips offer risky burst damage, and Wild Core Chips adapt to nearby pieces.
Progress continues between battles. Upgrade chip skill lines in the Lab, collect relics, unlock new bosses, complete contracts, and push through different stage rules. Each boss changes the way you play, encouraging new builds and smarter board choices.
