The only real issues I have is that the game is a black hole for power and even on the lowest graphical settings, it can cause the phone to heat up pretty hard. Also sometimes tanks in frame rate at seemingly random, though usually for a few seconds at a time or in a particularly dense area. Now I’m not using the most up to date phone, but it’s still an issue that can make it a bit harder go justify keeping the game running for more than a few minutes at a time. Another complaint that may partially be my device, but menu navigation can often feel sticky, out of sync, or unresponsive. Something that I’d like is to have sliding on the screen to not confirm an input like crafting something (though this could be a setting I didn’t notice, I admittedly play this version a fraction as much as on PC). ### 2/5 — Mobile and Jagex are trashy *2026-08-15, version 949.4* Mobile constantly fails, easy to be hacked thru, and will literally ruin your phone battery. I’ve been playing sense 2003, Jagex has had employees to regular players cheat and allow it if you pay the membership. Constantly they allow real world trade which is against game policy and allow multiple people to log into accounts of dead players, against game policy. Jagex has been emailed videos of proof of players being lured does nothin, even if you pay. After 20 years of certain accounts being grabdfathered for price they said not anymore. Now the game is 100% its price from less then a decade ago…. They took out forms of buying xp for “integrity” not even two months later noticed losses and re put in a buy method for xp. I’m just saying for nostalgia 3-4/5 stars The honest truth for where it’s come in 20 years 1-2 stars at best. Being fair if you don’t enjoy lore or paying consistently for not great change this is not the game for you, Jagex is uk based and will rip any other player in any other country off, free play is the best option if you don’t want to be ripped off by the company itself from the get go. P.s to even unlock parts of the map you need to pay 15$ a month and then spend a few months like 3-6 questing to even get the “paid for” parts, they literally take at every corner. They allowed the usernames but when they implemented a new system years ago they banned og accounts and wiped all progress with it. The username doesn’t exist and they just give you a new username that you have to pay to change. Why would I even bother with this? I’ve played for many years and always loved the game - but now things I worked very hard to achieve have been slowly stripped from me. Auras that I used hundreds of millions of in game gp to “purchase” not realizing they’d be taken away without anything in return. My player owned house that I spent countless hours building wiped out. Not to mention countless other topics.
