Devs put it aside to work on other projects. There’s been no expansions in forever and the player base is so small it’s the same opponents over and over. The ability to choose different champions and level provides more combinations than just building a better deck from the cards you get. I really do like some of the card mechanics like Consume, for example. Fun gameplay that I actually do want to play for a good long while. The only thing I would say that could improve are the animations, maybe even include some special ones for epic or legendary cards in game, or maybe like a cutscene when you bring one of them out. The daily rewards for free players are ridiculously stingy. The map missions in the mid-to-late game are way too difficult, and some AI campaigns are basically unwinnable. I thought the game had improved over the years, but I was completely wrong. If you lose a map mission, you get absolutely no reward at all — not even a tiny bit (and I’m not talking about daily quests). For every single map mission, you often have to constantly tweak and rebuild your deck. Don’t have strong cards? Then you basically have to pay to win. On top of that, most items, including characters, can only be obtained by spending money. The message is crystal clear: if you want to win, you need to open your wallet. Even the core gameplay mechanics are poorly designed. For example, when you play a flying unit, you can’t attack enemy units — you can only target enemy heroes. Yet your flying unit can still be attacked by enemy units. Why does every unit automatically attack the moment it’s played? Why can’t I control whether my units should attack or not? It’s such a stupid design. As a new player who doesn’t plan to spend money, I strongly suggest you stay far away from this game. I’ve deleted it again. ### 1/5 — Мусор *2025-11-16* В каком месте можно забыть про хс? Механики одинаковы, карты одинаковые, только донатить тут придется больше . И что за дич с картами? Проходишь такой кампанию , на втором уровне сложности боты играют норм картами, а ты не можешь их скрафтить, т.к у твоего чара недостаточно опыта. У меня есть опыт в таких играх, но это просто помойка ### 1/5 — Оценка игры *2024-09-11* Без донатов абсолютно бесполезная игра. Побеждаешь всех в режиме «против бота». И сливаешь также всем в режиме «против игрока». Баланса в игре нет от слова вообще. Вас может обыграть любой!!! Находясь в «верховном ранге» я сливал игрокам на 2 ранга ниже с непрокаченным чемпионом. У некоторых чемпионов просто читерство в виде лечения или нанесения дамага за 1 раз. Ты просто весь бой его дамажишь, но у него стоит фигура с 15 хп, которую он хилит ещё по +5 через ход, а потом лечит чемпиона с помощью этой фигуры или может тебе ввалить за раз 30-40 дамага, при наличии сначала игры 100хп. Игра порой просто выбешивает покруче танков, хотите раскачать нервы, то играйте, будете сидеть ждать по 2-3 минуты и сливать по 10 раз подряд всем. ### 1/5 — No support *2023-04-20, version 1.1.11* I have made multiple attempts to resolve issues. The making fun forum that both the eternium and runestrike game sends you to only gives you a page not found error. I have attempted to contact anyone (system admin, account manager, supervisor, and random members) but have been told I cannot post messages. I continue to play and foolishly spend money but I am tired of the issues making-lessfun in the game. ### 1/5 — Just ridiculous $$$$ to play *2022-09-10, version 1.0.45* You can’t level your champs properly as they give tiny amount of experience points also you can’t get any exp after you beat the fight once therefore hard to level up other champs. That’s why I am stock on hard level of Olympus at Diana can’t get pass her. I bought few packs but some runes can’t be access until certain level. It’s a pay to play game no way you can advance without $$$$$$.
