## What is Runet?

Running Accountability Made Easy

Many people struggle to hold themselves accountable, especially when it comes to their running goals. They find it much easier to commit to their actions when they know others are aware of their commitments.

Introducing Ruñet (pronounced "Run - Yet"), a platform that allows users to share their weekly running commitments with peers. Our focus is not on miles ran or pace, but rather how well you can stick to the commitments you set each week. When a user completes a scheduled run (by logging it in Strava), their friends are notified. Conversely, if a user fails to complete a scheduled run, their peers are also informed.

Key Features:

No Edits, No Excuses: Users cannot edit or delete their running commitments, nor can they manually log a completed workout through the app. This is an intentional feature. We believe it's all too easy to make excuses for not achieving your running goals, but Ruñet changes that.

Peer Reminders: Users can send reminders to friends to help them set and stay accountable to their weekly goals.

Career Stats: View each other’s career statistics on profile pages, fostering a sense of community and friendly competition.
