Rovásírás abc 
Az alkalmazás lehetővé teszi, hogy elolvashassunk székely-magyar rovásírással készült szavakat, mondatokat. Ha láttál már rovásírást és kíváncsi voltál mit rejtenek a jelek, akkor erre az alkalmazásra van szükséged!

A rovásírás egy ősrégi, rúnajellegű írás a magyar nyelv lejegyzésére. Manapság a rovásírás újra terjedőben van, elsősorban annak székely-magyar módja. A 15-20.000 éves jelrendszer ma is problémamentesen használható.  A magyar nyelv hangjait csak ezzel lehet tökéletesen lejegyezni. A X. században a magyaroknak át kellett térniük a latin betűs írásra, viszont abban nyelvünk 15 hangjára ( TY, GY,  Á, É stb.)  nem volt jel. Ezt a hiányosságot a betűk duplázásával, illetve a karakterek tetején feltüntetett írásjelekkel korrigálták.

A rovásírás alfabetikus elveken jelöli a hangokat: minden hanghoz egy betűt rendel.  Ennek megfelelően egyszerűen a billentyűzet segítségével gépeld be a rovásíráson szereplő karaktereket jobbról-balra olvasva (létezik balról jobbra írt szöveg is, de abban az esetben a jelek a billentyűzeten szereplő karakterek tükörképei). A kijelzőn minden gombnyomás után megjelenik annak mai magyar abc megfelelője.

The application enables you to read Szekler words, phrases written in runic script. If you have already seen runic signs and have been wondering about their meaning, this is all you need. 

The ancient Hungarian Runic script is a runiform script used for writing down the Hungarian language. Today, the script is becoming popular again, especially its Szekler-Hungarian type. The 15-20 000 year-old script system is still perfectly applicable as it is the only way to write down, in its complete form, the Hungarian language soundset. In the 10th century when the Hungarian had to start applying the latin alphabet there were no scripts for 15 different sounds which are now represented by double characters, double points or dashes on top of a particular letter. 

A runic sign represents a sound in the Hungarian alphabet. Accordingly, read the script from left to right and press the corresponding button (there is also text written from left to right, but in this case you see a mirror image of the keyboard characters). Right after a keystroke you will see a letter from the Hungarian alphabet as we know it today. 

A technical book of Friedrich Klára’s on runic scripts was used as basis for the runic scripts.

This app does not display real runes!! Dissapointed!

There are multiple ruining scripts besides the Hungarian. It would take this app from good to great if it could:
1. Allow selection of different scripts
2. Have a pronunciation guide for each rune. 
3. Have a audio guide so you can actually hear the pronunciation. 
4. Have some way to save output. 
5. Have some tutorial. 
And yes, I'd expect to pay for all that!
