Very enjoyable and adds some excitement to planning which parkrun to run next. Only let down being that the developer has included the Channel Islands as being in the U.K. in some challenges. The Channel Islands are not part of the U.K. (Compass (U.K.) and Jordan challenges spotted so far which have included the Channel Islands in the U.K. . ### 4/5 — App not working *2025-08-03, version 1.9.16* I really like this app as the challenges are fun and motivating however for the last few days I have been unable to access it. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it but still get an error code. Really frustrating… but I guess as it’s free and a labour of love for the app developer I shouldn’t complain. Keeps track of all of your parkruns ever ran (over 10 years for me), many fantastic challenges to work towards, a map showing all parkruns, statistics, achievements…. Not a complaint but is there an issue with syncing data eg parkrun dates the apps seem to be showing different data. Is the app picking up all the data? When I volunteer it’s not counted within the obsession badge, I want to get Gold Obsessed but that will mean I will have limit what volunteer roles I can fulfill, gutted ### 3/5 — Doesn’t include volunteering *2022-10-28, version 1.8.5* Loved the app to start with but after ending up disabled, and only being able to volunteer, it’s been pointless. I’m still trying to complete challenges whilst volunteering, but it’s disheartening to watch friends app fill up and mine hasn’t changed at all. Including volunteering stats would make this more inclusive ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-10-17, version 1.8.5* I love this app as it’s easy to use and updates from a recent run very quickly. As a somewhat competitive runner, I would love the functionality to be able to add friends also using the platform to compare badges etc. This would add to the fun for me and others like me but I understand how parkrun isn’t necessarily competitive for everybody. Can you please double check all New Zealand courses to make sure they all appear please and thank you. ### 1/5 — InAccessible app *2023-06-03, version 1.9.0* Running achievements app is breaking apple’s access policy. A screen reader such as voice over can not navigate the app this stops people who live with blindness from engaging. ### 1/5 — Inaugural attendance is not an appropriate statistic to track *2020-03-03, version 1.3.4* Number of inaugurals attended has recently been added to the tracked statistics. This isn’t helpful to parkrun. Parkrun UK*, and new event teams, work to limit inaugural attendance to avoid first runs being overwhelmed by visitors. These steps have mostly been successful although uncomfortably large attendances still happen from time to time. Recording this statistic risks encouraging the deprecated practice of “inaugural bagging” and harming the interests of parkrun UK. I’m pleased to note the developers have recognised this inclusion is a mistake, and I look forward to updating my review once the inaugural stat is removed. *In newer parkrun territories there is less potential pressure on inaugurals so limiting attendance is less of an issue. ### 1/5 — Failed to load my data *2020-02-14* Frustrated so far. Loaded app twice - data loader just spins and spins - not happy Must be a bata version - works for my wife on iPhone 6, but not my iPhone 7 😢 **Developer response:** We are not sure why this is, though we are looking into it and will try to replicate. If only I could get it to work. One addition I’d love to see is an update to the average run time. Currently I walk about 1/3 of my park runs and the walk times make the average way slower than any run I’ve ever done. I’ve ticked ‘Walked’ against those runs. Can we also have an average that shows our average time for when we run?
