Every teacher doing running records should have this app. It make life much easier. ### 4/5 — Like it, please add timer for words per minute *2010-04-18* This app almost does everything that the very expensive Fountas and Pinnell calculator by Heineman does. The one piece of information it doesn't have is a fluency calculation as words per minute. To do this it would require a timer with start and end reading times. If the developer does decide to add a wpm feature, please fix a problem with Heineman's special purpose calculator. On their calculator the teacher must enter the error count quickly. Otherwise, it times out and shuts off. It sometimes times out before I've had a chance to count all the errors in a long, complicated running record. Of course, those are the students for whom I need the best data.
