Asks questions about current stats and goal weight. Then presents you with option to BUY a subscription that you can’t get past. And it’s not cheap! Only option is to buy or uninstall the app. I didn’t know Apple allows that kind of app in the App Store. Uninstalled. ### 1/5 — Purchase screen unclear and Refunds not allowed *2019-09-03, version 1.1.5* Downloaded the app to see how it worked. Did the set up portion and while trying to get it up it quickly came up with a box that looked like you just had to continue through it. Before I knew it, it was charging me $129 with no way to cancel that amount and now apparently no option to get a refund. I never intended to spend $129 on this app, and it’s unconscionable that there is no option for get a refund for an error in purchase when the purchase screen is not clear that you are purchasing a yearly subscription. I wasn’t paying enough attention to what I was signing up for and accidentally processed an annual membership. They have you fill out personal info for a few seconds then ask for $120. I immediately deleted the app and contacted apple to see about getting my $120 back. This was turned down almost immediately. DO NOT DOWNLOD THIS APP!! Now I have to go to my bank to dispute the charges. This app is highway robbery. **Developer response:** Hello, Please note that the subscription cost depends solely on the users' choice. No option but to pay. *2019-09-02, version 1.1.5* Despite the developer’s comments on other users’ negative reviews, there is no ‘trial’ option. You have one option, which is to pay $120 for the year. Additionally, there is no ‘levels’ as described by the developer. It’s $120 or nothing. Quick charge on unwanted subscription *2019-09-02, version 1.1.5* I clicked a link in a browser on my phone and was taken to the App Store to view this app. I thought I’d see what it was about. I purchased the “FREE” app and it asked for my height, weight, target weight and running habits in the first 5 minutes. After looking around for another minute, I got a PayPal notification saying I bought a year subscription for $127!!! What?? When did that happen? I immediately called iTunes since the subscription payment went through them and they said they couldn’t help with a subscription refund. I did reach a nice supervisor that said she could refund my money and cancel everything. Be wary of an app that says on their billing page: “We cannot manage your subscriptions; this is your responsibility. Learn more about managing subscriptions in App Store.” It was too easy to get billed for this and others might not try so hard to fix it quickly. Be forewarned!!! **Developer response:** Hello! Ridiculous to have people download, enter in information and then make you accept a $119/yr subscription to proceed. Apple should prevent this type of description for paid only apps. ### 1/5 — Scam App *2019-09-01, version 1.1.5* My 15 year old downloaded this app and we were charged $129 - which he somehow didn’t realize would happen. I immediately tried to cancel but it would not let us cancel for the subscription term and is holding us hostage for 1 year. I email and tried to get the App owner to refund and let us cancel since their own policy prohibits children under 16...and I got not support or help. ### 1/5 — Misleading *2019-08-28, version 1.1.5* Don’t list the app as free if you can’t get past the ‘personal details’ screen without paying $9.99 a WEEK(!) I can Google a running plan for free. I’d consider a subscription if it was anywhere near reasonable, but am turned off by the app anyway for being deceiving. ### 1/5 — Not a free app. *2019-08-27, version 1.1.5* I downloaded this app on August 27th with the belief that is was a free app. As soon as you begin you are trapped into purchasing the year subscription. In order to use app, you must have a subscription. I accidentally purchased this subscription and have been requesting a refund and have not received any feedback yet. Would not recommend using this app. ### 1/5 — Scam - Be Careful When You Click Continue *2019-08-22, version 1.1.5* This app is a complete scam. After you set your goals and enter your height and weight, be careful. The next screen has a continue button with fine print that will charge you over $100. You can barely read the fine print because of the small font and combination of grey text and yellow background. This app does absolutely nothing unless you pay the developer. You get to see the user interface which seemed really nice. However, it just locks you out after it gets your info. You cannot go past go, you can’t try a week of workouts, you can’t try a selected track for a month. Nope you have to buy into a contract. That’s a yikes from me. This app costs as much as a discount gym membership per month. They have different subscription levels, but that’s not the same as in-app purchases. In order to avoid looking scammy, just charge $7.99 at the outset and then let people modify after that. This avoids the shock of having to pay money just to proceed with setup when you were looking for “Free” apps, not free trials. Please be more transparent. There are enough one star ⭐️ reviews for you to have fixed this by now. I’d be interested in a few version to start and then maybe a paid version but this is ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Bait and switch *2019-07-04, version 1.1.5* Reading other reviews I was cautious about going into the app as many people said you could only do a full year plan. The maker of the app kept saying “go into settings and change that” however you can’t even GET to the settings without paying $120 for a full year of service. Even the reviews are doing a bait and switch. Don’t fall for it. ### 1/5 — This app is NOT FREE *2019-06-26, version 1.1.5* Do not make the mistake of thinking this app is free. After 3 minutes where you enter in your weight, height and desired weight they recommend how much you run. Everything else this app has to offer is $120 with no payment plan system other than the one time annual payment. It is unethical and very unprofessional to advertise a free app, and before you can even access the app they demand $120. Some ideas to make this app better. (1.) Have a free version of the app with limited tools but don’t make it worthless. (2.) Offer payment plans that are monthly and not annually. This demonstrates that you are more willing to appeal to the customers you want to bring in. (3.) This quickly charged me 135 dollars. I immediately cancelled the subscription and called Apple support... Apple couldn’t refund me and said I had to write an email to the company specifically! This has scam written all over it. Please beware of this company!!! They say one thing and charge you another. ### 1/5 — Tricked purchased *2020-07-26, version 1.7.3* Please read before you click on this alleged free trial because it’s not free. It charges you up front and this is a deceptive sale practice that should have lawsuit filed against. This may work great but I don’t like to be deceived into a purchase. Give me the opportunity to choose to buy or not to buy and then give no recourse for a refund. This is clearly theft by deception. The money is not the issue for me, it’s the deception. This is the first app that I have ever used that assumes a sale without consent and is proud to let you know they got your money and you can’t get it back even through Apple. I should have read the reviews because many people had the same problem as me. I had just barely downloaded the app and they were charging me for a whole year, even after I pressed cancel subscription. Don’t download *2019-09-08, version 1.1.5* Zero functionality, and the “free trial” tries immediately to bill your iTunes account WITHOUT notice or receiving your authorization. The only reason I didn’t end up charged $100 is because I have my phone set to require my password on any purchases.
