## What is Runsense?

Runsense gets you to your goal, whether that is your first 5K or a hundred-mile ultra.

Tell Runsense what you are training for and it builds a genuine, periodized plan to get you there: build weeks, cutback weeks, and a taper, shaped around the days you can actually run. Then it coaches you through it. Travel, a missed week, a cold, a strong block of training: your coach reworks the plan the way a sharp human coach would, and tells you why.

Your coach is there 24/7, over text. Question about a workout? Want to understand the training theory behind it? Need to move a session because life happened? Send a message and it is handled.

What you get:

A real plan for your goal. Not a template with your name on it. A periodized plan built for your race, your history, and the week you actually have.

A coach in your corner over text. Your coach checks in, asks how a run felt, answers your questions, and reworks the plan when something changes. It reads like a person who knows your training, because it does.

Coaching grounded in the runs you actually did. With your permission, Runsense reads every run from Apple Health: distance, pace, heart rate, elevation. It reads what you tell it about how a run felt, too, and coaches on both.

Your plan on your watch. Each day's workout goes to your Apple Watch automatically, with the warm-up, intervals, and targets laid out, and it updates whenever your plan changes.

Proof you are getting fitter. Fitness, fatigue, and form trends built from your own training, so you can see the work adding up.

Memory that compounds. Runsense holds your history and the context you share, so the coaching gets sharper the longer you train with it.

This is not a workout library or a pace calculator. It is a coach with judgment, paying attention to you every week.

New members get their first 2 weeks of coaching free.

Yes, you can chat with your Runsense coach 24/7. You can ask questions about workouts, training theory, or request schedule changes, and the coach will respond and adjust your plan.

### What devices does Runsense support?

### How often is Runsense updated?

The latest version of Runsense is 1.5, and it was last updated on July 14, 2026. Updates typically include improvements to coaching algorithms and feature enhancements.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.8 — 2026-09-09

Connect your COROS watch in one tap. Runsense now links directly to COROS, so your runs arrive exactly as your watch recorded them, with no settings to hunt through in another app. You can disconnect any time from Settings.

Sessions can no longer be marked complete before the day they are scheduled for, so your completion history and fitness trends stay accurate.

### 2.7 — 2026-09-02

Your Coach tab now shows a badge when your coach has written to you, so you never miss a message waiting in the app.

Runsense also now asks for notification permission at the right moment, so your coach can reach you when it matters.

### 2.6 — 2026-09-01

Fixes a bug that could leave your coach conversation completely blank on iOS 18, where messages appeared to fail to send even though they had gone through.

Chat now loads and sends reliably on every supported version of iOS, and re-sending a message can no longer create a duplicate.

### 2.5 — 2026-08-31

Now you can just tell your coach you did it.

Marking a session done arrived last release, as a tap on your plan. Saying it in a message was meant to work the same way, and it did not when no watch or phone had recorded anything that day. That is exactly the case it was built for: the ten-minute mobility routine on the living room floor, the easy run you did without your watch. Tell your coach you did it and it counts.

### 2.4 — 2026-08-30

You can now tap any session on your plan to mark it done.

Some of your training is work no watch ever sees, like a ten-minute mobility routine on the living room floor. Until now a session only counted if a device recorded it, so you could do the work and watch your plan go on saying you had not. Your word is enough now, and your coach takes it.
