HOW IT WORKS

Starting a run from your Apple Watch first thing in the day now connects to your iPhone on the first try.
Until now, the first start after the daily reset could show CONNECTION LOST and need a second attempt.

When you start a run from your watch, RunStrict now waits for the map to finish loading before it counts hexagons.
Until now, a run that began before the map arrived could count ground that was already yours as newly covered, which made that run's score too high.

Fixed a false “Too fast” alert (and its “Too slow” counterpart) that could appear at an ordinary running pace after a GPS signal drop.
Your pace now stays accurate through tunnels, underpasses and other weak-signal stretches.

Your phone stays cooler on long runs — this update removes thousands of invisible map redraws every minute.
The lock-screen timer now ticks on its own and pauses when you pause.

Your Apple Watch now updates along with the app. Until now the watch app was left behind on an older version — that is why the connection could turn unreliable and ask you to retry mid-run, and why reinstalling it was the only cure.

The disconnect warning no longer cries wolf when your watch screen simply goes to sleep.

New: a switch for the watch connection, beside the Apple Health one.

The running figures on the map are redrawn with a flowing trail, and the pace number under each one is bigger and easier to read.
