- Improved running distance accuracy on Android to better match iPhone
- Fixed profile pictures that sometimes did not appear in the feed

Easier event sharing! Organizers can now create a QR code / link for their event — runners just scan to join instantly.
 Registered-only events — organizers can lock an event so only registered runners (verified by email) can join, keeping non-registrants out.
 Scan before you sign in — we'll remember the event and take you straight to it after login.
 Fixed event links and improved overall stability.

Chat: send multiple photos at once, see "Read" receipts, and tap a profile picture to open that person's profile
New setting to allow or block messages from non-friends
My Events: all your upcoming runs in one place (including club events), past events hide automatically, and faster loading

Stability improvements and minor bug fixes

- Fixed chat freezing when typing/sending — much smoother now, plus multi-line messages
- Team Leaderboard: tap a name or photo to open a member's profile; profile photos now show reliably
- "Team members only" runs now correctly block non-members from registering
- In-app English/Thai language switching now works on every screen
- Create event: registration can't close after the race starts, with a warning when it's too close (lottery events)
- More flexible check-in when a run starts early
- Stability improvements and various bug fixes

### 2.9.8 — 2026-07-30

This update makes chat better in several ways.

Fixed chat freezing and messages not sending — now smoother and more reliable
Pick multiple photos at once, preview them, then send them all together
Added "Read" receipts so you know when your friend has seen your message
New privacy setting: choose whether to receive messages from non-friends
