So apart from signing people onto runs, the app if fairly useless ### 1/5 — Disfunctional! *2021-07-20* Logged in but not seeing any runner or session info. Other leaders in my club report similar glitches. Very frustrating given the current climate and trying to minimise paper-based processes while being careful with runner registration. ### 2/5 — Should be so much better! *2020-10-31* During the COVID crisis we have been using this App to track runners going ours sessions. In theory it should be excellent but many users stop using it due to the technical issues. The app crashes a lot and you can’t add runs or sessions through the app on an iPhone without crashing. Seems these issues have been going on for a while. Often at run sessions those of us that have the run leaders app will consult with each other to determine precisely which members have booked on or cancelled because it doesn’t update properly or in a timely manner. When it goes through the process of updating, it takes forever I’m a Lohan just show the spinning update graphic indefinitely until it times out. Infuriatingly bad is the polite term for this app ### 1/5 — Slow and clunky *2025-01-28, version 3.3.1* I have scored the app poorly because of the amount of time it takes to refresh an update runners who have booked on or booked off. 99 times out of 100, the app egg timer spins for eternity. Sometimes you are lucky and it refreshes and other times it doesn’t update at all. As run leaders, we will frequently ask each other to check the app because we often can’t trust it. ### 1/5 — Useful but a pain *2025-01-16, version 3.3.1* Good with it weeks but I AB’s others have had periods like now where it just won’t load. So I cannot see if anyone has booked on nor can I then mark off attendees or see their emergency contact info. Knowing numbers and who’s running is great for planning runs. Only criticism is that it’s not very intuitive so you have to spend some time familiarising yourself with it. Not sure if it’s possible to cancel a runner’s booking but that would be great rather than having to go into the website to cancel. ### 4/5 — Does just what you need it to. *2018-08-19* We have been using this app in our club for the past 6 months, allowing us to see how many runners we have for each session, and how many runs they have already completed with us. The inclusion of health details and emergency contact numbers are a great safety feature too. Had the app been able to show photos of the athletes I would have awarded 5 stars. Some runners have difficulty in registering for runs via their computers, I therefore cant wait to see it or a separate app handle run bookings too. The app works perfectly for us and has never crashed or frozen as others have suggested. ### 3/5 — Promised app update hasn’t appeared! *2025-11-05* App has no update and not loading runners. So having to decide if taking a group out with no ICE details! 🫣 ### 3/5 — Needs a few updates to make it user friendly *2024-04-08* Meets my need to collect emergency details of runners but not user friendly. Main bugbear is that although this is a mobile App it requires a desktop PC to amend almost any error. Runners also can’t see in their App who else is running which is a constant moan from them. ### 3/5 — Works but could be much more usable. *2024-01-05* We transitioned to using RunTogether as a community running group at end of COVID and appreciate what it gives us as Run Leaders. App works okay to check runners in to sessions but hard to set new sessions up.
