## What is RunTrack GPS?

RunTrack GPS is a clean, lightweight running companion. Pick a 5, 10, 20, or 40 km goal or set your own, then start running. Watch your route draw live on the map while distance, pace, and time update in real time.

Control your run hands-free with voice commands (start, pause, resume, stop) and hear spoken milestones at every kilometre, the halfway point, 90%, and when you reach your goal. GPS, the timer, and audio feedback keep working in the background, so you can lock your phone and just run.

Trophies for your personal records.

Run History now shows an all-time Personal Records card with your longest run distance, longest run duration, and fastest pace — each with the date you set it. Something new to chase on every run.

Fixed: music, videos and podcasts now return to full volume immediately after each voice announcement. Previously, resuming another app after a per-kilometre alert could leave it playing quietly until you switched apps.

Audio coaching now works everywhere — this update fixes the bug where voice announcements (kilometre splits, halfway, goal reached) were silent when the app was in the background or your phone was locked, including while listening to music, podcasts, or YouTube. Your audio is briefly lowered for each announcement, then restored.

Also new:
• Settings tab: turn "Play over music & videos" on or off (on by default)
• Five colour themes — Sunset, Ocean, Forest, Twilight, and Bloom

• Voice coaching now works reliably while YouTube, Music, or podcasts are playing: the app briefly pauses (or lowers) the other app's audio, announces your distance, average pace, and calories, then lets it resume.
• Fixed announcements going silent after another app took over the audio.

Keep running past your goal — and never lose a run.

• Auto-save at your goal: the moment you hit your target distance, your run is saved to History automatically. No more losing a run if your battery dies.
• Keep going past the goal: reaching your target no longer ends the run. Distance, time, pace and calories keep tracking until you tap Finish, and your saved run updates with the full total.
• Favourite destinations: save places you run to — like Home or the park — and RunTrack GPS shows you the shortest running route there on the map, both before you set off and while you run.
• A brighter new look: a warm, light theme that's far easier to read in daylight.
