## What is RunTV?

RunTV - IPTV player & Remote

Start it on your phone. Throw it to your TV. RunTV is the IPTV player that follows you across every screen: watch a channel on your iPhone or iPad, send it to your TV with one tap, run up to 4 channels at once on the big screen, and it comes back to your hand when you get up.

RunTV is built to feel effortless. It does not matter what is in reach, your phone, your tablet, or the remote in your hand, you are always a few taps from your full setup, live and ready. Bring your own M3U or Xtream login. No ads, no subscription.

On your iPhone and iPad, RunTV is both the player and the remote. Watch right here, with two streams side by side on iPhone and up to four on iPad, or send any of them to a paired TV and run up to 4 there. Turn an iPad sideways for the wide control room view, with your sources, library, player, and live widgets on one screen, and drag any channel or favorite straight into a zone to start it.

MULTIVIEW IN YOUR HAND
Two streams at once on iPhone, up to four on iPad.
Swipe across the grid to move the sound between them.
Drag a tile to swap places, or tap one to take it full screen and swipe to move between your streams.
Each stream gets its own provider login, so they do not compete for a connection.

MULTIVIEW, THROWN FROM YOUR PHONE
One tap sends any stream to your TV. Up to 4 streams on one TV with 8 layouts: full screen, split screen side by side, big and small, picture in picture (PiP), 3-up, and 2x2 grid.
Drag a stream on your phone to instantly swap zones on the TV.
Pick which stream has the audio with one tap.
Get up and leave, and the stream follows you back to your phone.

ALL YOUR SOURCES IN ONE PLACE
Channels, movies, and series from every source you added, in one searchable list.
The same title from more than one source appears once, and you choose which source to play it from.
Posters, categories, and a full episode picker with seasons and automatic resume.
Continue Watching and Favorites, one tap away.

A REAL PROGRAM GUIDE
Days back and forward, filtered by channel or category, with program search.
Tap a past program to catch up where your provider supports it, up to 7 days back.

BUILT FOR SPORTS FANS
Live scores and schedules for the games you follow, right while you watch.
One tap on a live game finds the matching channel in your playlist.

WORKS WITH YOUR IPTV PROVIDER
M3U and M3U8 playlists, and Xtream Codes logins.
Add several logins to one playlist and RunTV spreads your streams across them, checks a connection is free before it starts playing, and moves to a spare login if one stops working.
Multiple providers at once, no lock-in.
HLS, DASH, MPEG-TS, and MP4 formats.
VOD resume, audio and subtitle selection with size and timing adjustment, and 15 second live rewind.

FREE AND PRIVATE
No ads, no subscription.
Your provider login stays on your device and loads your channels over an encrypted connection.

RunTV does not provide any channels or content. You bring a valid IPTV subscription from a legal provider. We are a player, not a source.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-05

Multiview comes to your phone and tablet.

Watch two streams at once on a phone, or up to four on a tablet. Tap Multiview to open the grid, swipe across it to move the sound between streams, and drag a tile to swap positions. Tap any tile to take it fullscreen, and swipe left or right there to move between your streams.

A new look
The whole app has been redesigned, from the home screen to every panel and popup.

All your sources in one place
Channels, movies and series from every source you have added now sit in one searchable list. The same title from more than one source appears once, and you pick which source to play it from, so you can move to another login if one is busy.

A faster guide
The TV guide loads quicker and remembers what it already fetched. Where your source supports it, you can tap a past programme to catch up.

Fewer failed streams
RunTV now asks your provider whether a connection is free before it starts playing, so you get a clear message instead of a stream that never opens. If a login stops working mid stream it moves to a spare one and keeps going. This applies to every stream, including the extra ones in Multiview.

Also in this release
Live Games shows what is on now and which of your channels carries it.
Fullscreen hides the clock and battery so nothing sits over the picture.
Landscape on tablets has a reworked layout with your sources and library alongside what is playing.
Favourites, recently watched and your saved sessions now update from every stream, not only the first one.
Various fixes to scrolling, drag and drop, and the source editor.
