It’ll go hours without loading anything, can’t check standings/scores, nothing! Please update this big flaw ### 1/5 — Do not use *2024-04-12, version 1.0.20* They hide the fee that they charge for “running” the pool for you until the end of the first round. Yes, they charge you for starting a pool. And it’s $20 dollars. Do not recommend, I’d just go somewhere else. ### 1/5 — Very Sketchy do not use *2024-03-29, version 1.0.19* They hide their fees and wait for an event to start before they charge you, so you can’t search for other options to use. They lock you from even seeing your picks until you pay. We used it for a 14 team survivor pool and they charged $20! Asked for the fees to be adjusted to a more reason rate for such a low amount of entries and I’ll let you take a guess what they said… NEVER going to use this rip off of a service again, judging by all the recent reviews it seems like I’m not the only person that has dealt with the ambiguity of their pricing model after the fact. ### 1/5 — Last year using this. *2024-03-22, version 1.0.19* I've made bracket pools before with this for free. I ended up making a bracket pool for 11 people (myself included). They waited until day 2 of March Madness to lock the entire pool until the commissioner paid $16.25. Pretty deceptive. Recommend ESPN or Yahoo over this. ### 1/5 — They don’t clearly disclose cost *2024-03-22, version 1.0.19* This app was great for our March Madness team bracket in 2023 and was free. RYP never disclosed that they are now charging a fee ($15 for up to 10 entries) in 2024 until it was too late to switch our team to a free service. I do not recommend this app or this company and am extremely dissatisfied with their service. It keeps taking everyone back to the log in page. Do not get this app. ### 1/5 — Yep it’s a scam *2025-03-22, version 1.2.0* Seems like a good idea at first. Then the app doesn’t work when there’s high volume around the start of March Madness. Then they hold your bracket hostage after the first day of games, demanding $70 even though you selected the free version. Classic bait and switch ### 1/5 — APP IS NOT FREE!!!! *2025-03-21, version 1.2.0* This app is a total scam. There’s no mention of fees during sign-up or in the App Store description. You lose access to your pool until you make payment. Their Terms of Service prohibits collecting fees for pools, yet they violate their own Terms of Service and charge per entry. AVOID THIS APP/WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!!! ### 1/5 — Bad changes *2025-03-04, version 1.2.0* They now take you to a browser to login and redirect you to the app again sometimes. Sometimes it doesn’t work and you just sit on the browser session. Horrible. You shouldn’t have to leave an app to log in. That’s basic app design 101. Why they switched to this, I have no clue, it’s like an early 200s an experience now. Please revert. Horrible product manager in charge ### 1/5 — Scam App *2025-01-13, version 1.0.21* I used this app the first time around and wondered why everyone wrote complaints about it. Coming around now, I see why. At first I had no problem paying for the app because I was hosting a paid pool with a few friends. However, the last 2 times there is 2, not 1, 2 OPTIONS listed. I chose the free option and not the splash option in hopes of hosting a free pool. Get to a few days later, will tell you to pay $15 for 10 entries minimum. Like excuse me? What was the point of all those options and messages then. Don’t get me wrong the pool works great payment wise. The problem is the lies it says to the player. What is the point of basing an app around various details if those details are meant to be destroyed. I truly enjoy the ease of use. However if your running a pool your goal is end of season or through Super Bowl. WHO wants to do the math for the entire season when you have a tie. If your in a large pool l, or small, there is bound for some players to have the same wins. But YTD scoring does not include tie breakers. What’s the point of that? How hard would it be to include that in YTD?
