## What is Rush Finder?

YOU CANNOT LISTEN TO RADIO STATIONS WITH THIS APP!

Rush Finder attempts to locate the strongest domestic U.S. AM or FM radio station broadcasting the Rush Limbaugh show. It uses your current GPS location, stored info from the FCC database, and stored program listings from Rush's web site. Internet access is not required for normal operation.

Rush Finder is useful when driving cross country to find the correct radio station at the correct time for listening to Rush Limbaugh from your car or truck radio.

The theoretically strongest stations are listed at the top with an (optional) arrow that indicates if you are driving towards (green) or away (gray) from the station. The arrow is only shown if your GPS indicates a course and bearing, which in turn requires your device to be moving.

The calculated signal strength, which is used to sort the stations, is only an approximation. Ground conductivity, air temperature, storms, time-of-day, terrain, humidity, etc. all effect the station's real signal strength.

Problems can now be reported via email directly from the 'Info' view. Using the problem reporting functionality requires working email and an internet connection.

If you find that RushFinder shows a station that is no longer broadcasting the Rush please report it. It is not uncommon for stations to switch programming formats. When this happens we have seen delays as long as 6 months before the changes appear in the FCC database or Rush's station list.

### 1/5 — Slow

*2019-11-08*

This app drains my phone very badly. This app needs to be update. This app crashes lot and freezes.

### 5/5 — See which stations broadcast Rush Limbaugh...

*2018-06-02*

I use this app to see which stations broadcast Rush Limbaugh so that I can avoid them. I would say that I probably use it once every few years when I am camping, because what other situation would one listen to the radio nowadays. Honestly, I was surprised that so many stations do broadcast him considering he is clearly a fossilized shill, but I guess radio is gasping it’s last few breaths. Because the Young Turks are on YouTube (and YouTubeTV), I get to watch it all the time, and listen to it while driving, and actually get facts followed by the hosts opinions which I sometimes disagree with. It’s kind of weird, all the progressive programming is way ahead of the curve, streets ahead if you will, using new media while conservative programming thinks, “Radio? Sounds great!“

### 3/5 — Wrong station information

*2014-04-10, version 1.3*

Rush is not on WABC 770 in New York City area. It has been switched to WOR 710. This app needs updating.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work!

*2013-12-12*

I've downloaded it twice but can't get it to work. Either fix it or remove as a Rush locator app!

### 4/5 — Good But Needs Updating

*2013-02-27*

Overall this app has been very helpful as we travel but I too have noticed an occasion where updating is needed. The 640 AM station listed for Atlanta seems to be a Spanish only station currently. Never did find much in the way of good stations in that area. Finally as we were leaving the city going north we found 570 AM, which was not on the list. I also could not find a way of reporting this need for an update to the app maker. When in FL one of the AM stations was giving an FM alternative that was not on this app's list. I still like the app overall though.

### 3/5 — Okay, but out of date.

*2012-11-19*

I like the idea of using the FCC license data to determine which stations can be picked up. However, the claim that that it uses current information from Rush's website is false. The listing for San Francisco is months out of date. Worse, there is no feedback mechanism to submit updates.
It also has no features whatsoever. Other apps have map and planning features.
