The latest update 3.2.0 has all temperature set to Celsius. We need Fahrenheit. Fix!!! **Developer response:** Hi Chris350 and thanks for your feedback! Check your language selection in the app settings. It should use dot for decimal in US region. ### 4/5 — pretty cool, but i have a firmware-feature request… *2024-07-11* lovely and reliable devices, and the app provides all the functionality i wish. however, it would be great if the ruuvi-tags would hold data over a longer time-period. so what about a firmware change that would allow setting the storage-interval to something else than 5 minutes thru the app? setting it to e.g. 15min would triple the storage-period to 30 days (which would be great for me). others might wish to set the interval shorter for a more tightly monitoring (even though i assume that the inertia of the sensor would limit the usefulness in that case). **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your message and feedback! Tried readding but none shown on bluetooth **Developer response:** Hi m_mm_mmm, thank you for your message! On iOS you can only pair sensors with Bluetooth to one iOS device at the time. Go to sensor settings and disable Pair and use background scan for specific sensor, then the sensor will be able to update on the other device. This limitation is due to strict Apple policy. If this doesn't solve the issue for you please write to our forum at f.ruuvi.com and we will help you out! ### 3/5 — Only Portrait Mode *2023-11-17* Sensors work great but iPad app only works in portrait mode. Hard to use if you have a keyboard attached to iPad. There is some weird and wonderful firmware update. But way to complicated to install..why not instal before selling **Developer response:** Hi and apologies for a very late reply! Please update to the latest app version and upgrade your RuuviTag firmware (firmware upgrade can be done directly in the app now) to get access to the latest features! Die Tags werden schnell gefunden und man ist sofort Einsatzbereit. Namen vergeben fertig. Kein unnötiger Schnick-Schnack. For Bluetooth alert notifications in Ruuvi Station, go to App Settings -> alert notifications and enable Limit alert notifications. Not a fan *2025-10-09* Ruuvi, the redesign makes the card height taller so have to scroll more, and when you open the card the digits are so small. The text now for the temps etc are so small can’t read them quickly. Not a fan of how much need to scroll now. You can change the history view graphs size from the three dots menu in history view page for your liking. ### 1/5 — Cloud Zwang *2024-08-17* Es scheint einen neuen Sport zu geben die Anwender von Hardware zu zwingen sich einen Online/Cloud Account zuzulegen und damit die Daten an den Hersteller zu schicken. Das ist nun schon das zweite Produkt mit dem selben Verhalten. Ich lasse derweile juristisch prüfen, ob es rechtens ist gekaufte und benutzte Hardware durch einen Online, Cloud und Account Zwang für Benutzer die dieses nicht möchten im nachinein unbrauchbar zu machen. Hiermit wird nachträglich in den Kauf eines Produktes eingegeriffen und die Produktmerkmale verändert. Man stelle sich vor man kauft ein Auto und kann es nach 2 Jahren nur noch Fahren indem man in einer APP einen online Account akzeptiert. Da gab es wohl eine neue Finanzierungsrunde, bei der die Investoren einen Gegenleistung für ihr Invest verlangen. Die zugrunde liegenden AGB‘s kann man sukzessive Ändern: Zu Beginn alles Save und nach und nach wird der Datenschutz aufgeweicht - das kennt man ja zu genüge. What about DSGVO ? Currently the app sends only anonymised crash reports and we don't collect any personalised user data. In the next app update, we will also allow you to opt-out of sending analytics and crash reports, which we use to improve stability of the app only. ### 1/5 — Has anyone anyone at the company actually used it? *2023-06-28* The alerts, the main reason I bought it, or absolute garbage. You get a temperature exceeded alert, for example, and you keep getting it every 30 seconds until the temperature has changed. It’s totally ridiculous. How do you expect a fridge to go from 38° to 34° in 30 seconds flat. I would stay away from this and buy some thing like SensorPush instead. The only reason I bought it is because it’s the only Bluetooth sensor compatible with my victron system. **Developer response:** Hello mark2457, Thank you for your feedback! Please write to our forum f.ruuvi.com and we will help you out if you still have problems with latest build. ### 1/5 — Nach Update kein Zugriff mehr *2023-03-10* Nach einem Update habe ich keinen Zugriff mehr auf die Geräte. Man wird aufgefordert aufzurüsten und noch irgendwas dazu zu kaufen und ein Konto zu erstellen. Man kann diesen Schritt theoretisch überspringen und soll dann auf einen Link klicken. Dieser Link funktioniert auf meinem Handy nicht - auf dem Gerät meines Lebensgefährten schon (und: nein, mein Handy ist erst 2 Jahre alt). So etwas ist sehr sehr nervig. Ich finde es unverschämt, mit Updates die Erreichbarkeit der Geräte zu erschweren. We are publishing new version of the app in the coming days that addresses some related issues. ### 1/5 — NO CONTROL OVER DATA *2023-02-08* Really terrible app, you can’t see all the devices on one screen or manipulate how you see data on a timeline comparing difference sensor data. The propose for buying these is to connect them inside a van for winter skiing and keeping water on board. It would be amazing to have a screen to compare temp data in various sensors on a graph so I know that my system is running correctly. Your product is only as good as your interface, you can do better. Truly kindergarten style programming, it’s a joke. **Developer response:** Hi PdeKock16, thanks for your feedback. Good news - dashboard feature is coming to iOS in the coming weeks, which enables you to see multiple sensors at a glance! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Ruuvi für Wohnwagenkühlschrank *2026-08-20* Der Ruuvisensor lässt sich wunderbar in der eigenen App und auch über den Victron Energy Cerbo GX einbinden und zeigt verlässlich alle vier Werte an (Temperatur, Luftdruck, Luftfeuchtigkeit und Bewegungen) an. Zu Hause funktionieren die 4 eingesetzten Sensoren über Bluetooth bis ca. 6-7 Meter mit 1-2 massiven Wänden dazwischen ebenfalls sehr gut! Immer wieder gerne. ### 5/5 — Excellent device *2026-07-20* This an incredible piece of technology. I like knowing what the weather is outside due to being a Skipper and a Pilot. This gives me and instant view of what’s going on. I can take it with me and have all the date I need on the app, including alarms for certain things. For any data geek a must have 😉 I would rate this 10 out of 10. Only improvements could be a rechargeable version. Rechargeable batteries are actually incompatible with RuuviTag sensors, make sure to replace with standard CR2477. ### 5/5 — Reliable and accurate *2026-02-28* This sensor provides accurate readings. The app interface is clean and easy to read. It’s also highly customizable. I like the fact that I can track battery output on the app as well. Historical graphs are visible at a touch, and the user can specify the time range. I just received the new “rugged” ones, they are just insane, they answer just what I needed!! Room for improvement though: would you please create widgets for iOS? The latest update put a comma on the temperature. Here in the USA we like decimal places. Currently the temperature will show 29,67. I prefer the older way of 29.67. Fix this please.
