What was a beautiful and meditative game has become a more anxious and frustrating one that I’m almost at the point of giving up on. Shame as, in its previous incarnation, out of all my games, I loved going back to play this one. ### 1/5 — Bugs *2018-03-19* When I try to reset a level, the game won’t let me interact with any of the game pieces, which means I’ve got to close down the app completely and reopen it before I can retry. Not being able to see which shapes are coming up makes it in many ways luck which means there is no sense of satisfaction in completing stages. Playing feels mechanical rather than engaging, the levels have no real differentiation and now on the 4th world the game is exactly the same as when I began. ### 3/5 — Too easy *2017-11-11, version 1.0* Beautiful graphics but a disappointingly easy game to play. Unfortunately the levels don’t seem to get more difficult in order either. Some are a little more difficult then the next super easy. Thank you (seriously, brilliant game) 😊 ### 3/5 — Too short! *2017-11-03, version 1.0* This is basically a variation on games like candy crush where you match up tiles to make them disappear, but it's quite a good one. I'd happily play it EXCEPT it only has eight levels, and the first of those is the tutorial! So I completed the whole thing within about half an hour. Considering there are cheaper games which go on for much longer, it's not very good value. ### 4/5 — No rushing, slightly different, but good nonetheless. *2026-04-01, version 1.8* I like this game in that it is relaxing and doesn’t try too hard to kill you, as in run out of moves. The music is nice and the learning curve is not steep although it still is different than other connect-style games. It is not the ubiquitous connect 3 game, no explosions or the like. Nice music, gentle story, quite a good game. I’ve only made it to world 4 yet so cannot vouch for it in its entirety but so far it is different enough to slowly challenge you but without pressure. Puzzle-wise it doesn’t break any molds, but it doesn’t need to. In a narrative context, it makes sense for the gameplay to be familiar (in regards to nostalgia and the reclamation of memory). This game isn’t long, massive or a franchise (though it could be). It’s a mood, a feeling and it leaves a lasting impression in regards to love and your family. Simply great work.
