This year, back in Nova Scotia and needing to go on a detour in the dark, the app sent us down a dirt road that was not really a road, but something called a “goat path,” that turned into a single lane and ended up…nowhere. We had to call the RCMP, and then the officer who showed up had to call the fire department, just to get us off this road. It took a whole team! Finally, loopy at after 2am after being stuck for three hours, we drove out in a ridiculous parade of trucks and people up way past their bedtimes. Moral of the story is: the app is not infallible. If a road looks sketchy, don’t go down it just because the app says to. ### 2/5 — Trip Wizard *2026-08-23, version 5.1.4* I used to love this app. Now you have made so many changes, Tip Wizard is impossible to find. Without that feature Iwill most likely not renew. I was not at all happy with the newest update. I have to go back to the website rather than use the app now to view my trips the way I used to. You guys need to change it back. Shows me driving across fields. And today sent me 3 miles past my turn to have me on 5 miles of a one lane unpaved road over bridges that didn’t even have side rails. Better, but far from anything one might call fluidity! Finally got my trip sorted out last night. I decided to make a small change to my schedule this morning and did so on the laptop. I forgot to email my wife the trip schedule and figured I’d just do it on the app on the phone. Doesn’t even show the change that I made! I used the app to get home some months back because it said that it would take me on an RV safe route, only to run me through a very UN safe for my RV route! Here is a list of features all other FREE GPS apps have. Live traffic data updates with option to seek alternative routes. Option to seek POI while road guidance is active. While in active GPS route, no option to zoom in or out (other than pinch) or set zoom, no potion to rotate map north or drive north. Route feedback is limited to only few obstacles. Once route is active, no option to switch to other menus. Creating trips requires separate web based site and is counter intuitive it makes you wanna cry. Once you create trips, editing starting point or adding POI isn’t available. Mobile internet site will not access GPS to select starting point for the trip. The list of missing basic GPS navigation tools is so long that they should pay me to use it instead. So safe your money and find something else. To the developers, I have low expectations of you reading it and implementing the missing features as it would require you to rewrite this app from the beginning. Now we are 56-58’ total and it’s a game changer. Can’t just go anywhere anymore. This app has almost cured the nerves of all the research having to do before, you still need to do the research. Finally I wised up and downloaded and joined RV Life Pro. First time user will be headed from East coast to West coast with our new camper we have only camped in Georgia and Alabama so far but here we go….
