I’m waiting a ton of time uploading photos. There are still a few quirks like the messaging threads lagging. Also we when we were thinking of booking there was an offer for a fuel gift card but we never received it so that was a bummer. We always end up using outdoorsy since they have the festival friendly search filter and rv share does not. With rv share you have to click on each listing individually and check the rules. It’s also time sensitive which is very annoying. Needed a little extra space and this service seemed like a great alternative to an Airbnb. We booked the camper months ahead of time. The guy knew where it was going and when. Day of the trip the guy comes to our home but was so scared he couldn’t back the camper into our drive way. He sped off leaving us without a place for our folks to sleep. Currently, when I open the app on my iPad it’s only portrait orientation which isn’t the worst, but typing is much easier to respond to renters through the app since I have a keyboard attachment. My biggest complaint it that sales commissions are taken out of delivery fees. A true out of pocket cost of operating the rental especially at 6-8 MPG while towing. There months were off and I didn’t even notice until I was scheduling with my doctor and missed my appointments because I use the RV Share calendar. Only one was on this site luckily. On 6-25 I was looking for some details on the rv and could not find my reservation. It had been cancelled 3 weeks prior! Did I get notification No! I only found out because I undated the app on my phone and went through it to check it out. After I sent them an email I was told that the reservation was canceled. I have a home that I rent out thru VRBO and ABNB so I have experience with customer communication and this group is not it. I am looking at a 25% cost increase. By the time the rental process was completed Joseph was getting far less than the broker (RVshare). Many hidden charges by RVshare while Joseph was forthcoming and honest. We also have a Fleetwood Southwind, but we are renovating it, not ready for our trip so we were looking forward to using his.
