Cooking for one is a challenge and going to the grocery store even more of a challenge. Before RX Diet, my nutrition was seriously compromised—and my health was failing. This program has started me on a better path to healthy living. I’ve even started an exercise program! If the goal of insurance is health maintence and enhancement rather than curing the diseases of old age, then RX Diet is key. It probably is less costly in the long run. I am exceedingly grateful for the six months of RX Diet support and hope fervently that I can continue the good habits of eating well that this program has inspired. This is a wonderful insurance benefit especially for senior citizens for whom the challenges of daily living are especially real. Each week you select one of three weekly recipes and the food items are delivered to your home. You pick the day and time for delivery each week. Unfortunately sometimes there is a problem, just call and the support team is there to fix it. I have called and my concerns were resolved with the utmost of importance. Thank you United Health Care for taking care of your customers. So far I haven’t enjoyed tahini, corn tortillas , or ground turkey. ### 5/5 — RXDiet *2024-05-11, version 1.25.7* The quality of the groceries really surprises me every week . I have never gone to Walmart before for groceries and I am very happy. There have been a few hiccups. The delivery was made outside my garage once and I called to say that I had a missed delivery. The driver had taken a picture though, and I was able to get them. Too bad they were too lazy to bring them to my door. No tip for that driver. My delivery today was missing two items - 16 oz can of chickpeas and eggs. I left a voicemail for you to reference Monday. The recipes tend to require the use of too many pots and pans for my taste, but they are easily adaptable. This program is so beneficial to me in so many ways. I have lost 20 pounds since I was enrolled, my blood pressure is more stable than ever. Thank you so much. Making basically a meal kit from store groceries so it’s actually affordable for a family of 4 is just genious.. I think I actually spend more myself. The food tastes amazing despite being super duper healthy. Cooking recipes is really fast. Since we started to use it, me and my girlfriend don't have to plan what we eat each week anymore, app selects recipes appropriate for us and all the groceries are delivered with Fresh Direct. I wasn’t aware that I had to pick a meal (just rushed through it). I wanted to see what was getting delivered. There were items that I didn’t choose. Why does the app ask what items (bread, dairy, etc) if you’re not gonna get them? The items on the login list was healthy so I don’t understand why I have to be forced to take peppers and eggs? Upon applying for this program I was unable the impression that I can chose the food I want but now it’s just going based upon their food meals.
