## What is RxPrimer?

You stop cramming a list and start reading the language.

Most drug-name study asks you to brute-force 200 flashcards — brand, generic, class, repeat — and hope it sticks. RxPrimer is the opposite.

Drug names are built from patterns. Learn that -pril means ACE inhibitor, or that -statin means cholesterol drug, and you no longer memorize each drug. You decode it — including ones you have never seen.

That is roughly 40 patterns instead of 200 strangers.

THE 40 PATTERNS METHOD

The Drug Primer is a twelve-unit course built on drug-name patterns rather than drug names. Each lesson gives you the stem, the class it signals, and the drugs that inherit it — then makes you use it. A pattern is not finished when you have read it. It is finished when you can apply it to a drug that was never on the card.

Because the patterns compound, the work gets lighter as you go. The last unit is easier than the third, because most of what is in it is something you already own.
