### 2/5 — Insulin need help!

*2023-12-08*

The past 6 months I have run out of insulin after ordering same.
I have drive 55 miles to pick it up or I have gone without the insulin. I am told that the insulin comes automatically. I order new insulin when I revive the new batch.
Over all the VA is truly wonderful.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you have had difficulty with running out of medication. We recommend reaching out directly to your provider or to the pharmacy listed on the prescription if you ever experience interruptions or delays, to ensure that you do not run out. Also please be aware that the Rx Refill app is going away and moving into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Easy

*2023-11-05*

Easy to see active prescriptions and order refills. I’ve been using this for several years and am very happy with how smoothly it works.

**Developer response:** We're glad that you have had success with the app. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is going away and moving into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — MFA and 2FA

*2023-10-26*

Already sent complaints to the VA at my hospital business section.
RX refills on this app May only work once the proper email has been authenticated!
BUT, looks like the IT department did not verify the original email versus the MFA second stage of the 2FA which is the MFA.
Meaning someone did not enter the proper email address by a second step authentication during initial verification process for the next stage MFA.
Instead we have an email that is in error of the original email address.
OR someone changed it to a dyslexic skip of a single letter that the system cannot verify, only reject.
Please correct or pass this message to the geniuses that can confirm this message!
Not too difficult just look at email address from start to finish or ask for a non circular authentication process to help users change the access!

### 5/5 — Can’t refill my prescriptions

*2023-09-25*

At least 1/2 of my meds I am taking do not show up on your list. Why use this app if I just have to use your messaging option anyway to get the meds I need?

**Developer response:** We're sorry you do not see the medications you had expected. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is transitioning into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions, as well as send messages to your provider.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2023-09-24*

, I’ve been going to the VA for over three decades. I just got this app within the last 8 to 10 years and it is really nice. I can send a message over to anyone, my doctor, my dentist, and physical therapy, etc. I highly recommend this app if you go to the VA!

**Developer response:** We're glad you have had success with the app. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is transitioning into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Thank you for all you do. It’s very much appreciated.

*2023-09-20*

Thank you

### 5/5 — VA Prescriptions

*2023-09-19*

The VA prescription app is very easy to use and my meds arrive quickly. I can also have them delivered to different addresses when I spend time at different locations.

**Developer response:** We're glad you have had success with the app.

### 3/5 — Difficult

*2023-09-18*

This app is difficult to use. It tells you too many times that you have put in the wrong information. Also, when it comes to connecting through, might that help video is very difficult. Need to make this app a little bit simpler, because some of us vets don’t have the patience. It’s frustrating, it’s nerve wrecking, trying to figure it out.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you have had difficulty using the app and inputting information. Please be aware that the app is moving to VA Health & Benefits, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 4/5 — New and Needs improvements

*2023-09-13*

I found meds to refill. It was hard to read name of medications due to overlapping text. I’m using an iPhone 13 with latest updates.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you had difficulty reading the names of medications on your display. Please be aware that the app is moving to VA Health & Benefits, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 1/5 — Pharmacy

*2023-09-06*

This doesn’t work at all! It doesn’t pull up any prescriptions for me at all! The RX app doesn’t have any of my medication on it that can be refilled. I can’t send and receive messages on the new app and tell someone from there send me a message first. My primary care physician is not even on that app. It is very difficult to look up medical history and to refill medication and to send and receive messages. I can hardly do it at all. The L app was very easy to use. It’s a shame you switched. Please fix this somehow. You have made it so difficult to get my medication and to talk to my doctor that it’s a tragedy.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you have had difficulty locating prescriptions you were expecting in the app. We recommend reaching out directly to your provider or to the pharmacy listed on your prescription for assistance if this is interfering with delivery. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning to the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Still doesn’t work

*2024-06-24*

This app didn’t work 3 years ago. The VA mailed me fire said it was ready to use. I tried again still doesn’t work. I’m just overall disappointed in the VA unless the veteran is in a hospital. General healthcare just doesn’t work well. We’ve just had to go to a regular ENT because we can’t get in through audiology on his VA issued hearing aids . They cancel 6 mo appointments regularly. The Greenville SC VA is less than desired for us. For general healthcare that is. We have had the same great social worker, Heather, for several years. What an asset

**Developer response:** We're sorry you are experiencing issues with the app. We will share your review with the product team. If you continue to use the app and issues continue, please contact the Mobile Solutions / Health Resource Center Help Desk at 877-470-5947 for assistance. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 1/5 — Extremely slow updates

*2024-04-30*

I’ve been using this app since it became available, I have had to delete the app and reinstall on numerous occasions. I can’t begin to count the number of times this app has frozen. I normally receive my medication before the shipping information shows up on the app. Many times I have to call the pharmacy to find out if my medication has been shipped or even been filled. The length of time it takes just to get signed in is stunning. I have actually went out of the app to sign in on google. There are prescriptions still on the app that have been expired or were only for one prescription as well as medication I have not used for years, yet they continue to show up, it makes it difficult to keep track of current prescriptions.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you are experiencing issues with logging in and what sound like extended loading times and freezing. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will share your review with the product team. If these or other issues continue, please contact the Mobile Solutions / Health Resource Center Help Desk at 877-470-5947 for assistance. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 1/5 — If it wasn’t broke…

*2024-03-25*

Adding another layer to provide “convenience” isn’t as helpful as whoever dictated this app thinks. It worked fine having to go to the website, it also was easier when you only had to call and listen to that way too long and drawn out Steve Wright sounding dorky voice prompt. But, as usual, vets are being separated from customer service. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you had a negative experience with the app, and thank you for sharing your thoughts. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 1/5 — Too many login steps

*2024-02-06*

This app is a great idea however every single time I have to login it never works the first time. I constantly have issues getting to the point of actually refilling my prescriptions. I’d rather just wait at the VA for 45 minutes than pull my hair out trying to use this app. It needs to be easier to get to the end result of filling my prescription. I am pretty savvy with electronics I can’t imagine an older veteran and the struggle they would have using this app. Nice try but needs a new process to really be helpful.

### 1/5 — Login

*2023-10-17*

It’s a pain to sign in every time. I log in every couple months for my prescription refills and every time something has changed with login procedures. So I spend 30 minutes or longer reauthenticating, setting new passwords, etc. Do you realize that it’s stuff like this that frustrates veterans the most? This falls into the big category of ways the VA makes it difficult for us. And when you’re talking about people with PTSD and other mental health issues, and then y’all can’t do a simple thing like make it consistent and simple for how to get their prescriptions refilled….Think about that.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you experienced difficulty logging in. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is moving into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions. The app also has enhanced login options that may be useful for you.

### 1/5 — VA Rx Refill app

*2023-10-15*

We were told in September ‘23 that we would HAVE to use this app exclusively to refill all of our prescriptions. It is to laugh.
It’s for refills only, yet a complete inventory of current prescriptions does NOT pull up in the app, requiring the veteran to use the old standard “MyHealtheVet” site.
MyHealtheVet has enough of its own problems (and isn’t even an app), but this app is about as useless as a third broken leg.
I’ll go back and check it out once a month to check for possible improvements, but I’m not expecting anything. The app developer should really consider a hard reboot.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you had difficulty managing your prescriptions with Rx Refill. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is going away and moving into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 1/5 — The app look’s convenient and promising but I can’t get the password to take or remain valid.

*2023-10-14*

The app look’s convenient and promising but I can’t get past setting up a password to be able to log on and use the same password in the future. No impact, no idea why this is confusing and constantly a problem with the VA apps and passwords to use the apps.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you have had difficulty with setting up the app. Please be aware that the Rx Refill app is transitioning into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions. It also has enhanced login options that might be of use for you.

### 1/5 — Continuously signing in

*2023-09-10*

Would be nice to use the app if I didn’t have to login to DS Connect, Authentication, multiple text messages and then have to do it over and over in a continuous loop. I get a glimpse of the app but that’s it. Make this easier for veterans to login and get the refill they need.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you have had difficulty logging in. Please be aware that the app is moving to VA Health & Benefits, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions. The app also has enhanced login features that may be of use for you.

### 1/5 — VA continues to fail Veterans

*2023-09-09*

The VA continues to allow red tape and politics far outweigh any concern they actually have for Veterans.

The various apps frequently do not work. People cannot get their prescribed medications, including mental health medication which they rely on for minor things, like not having suicidal ideations.

While there are a few VA employees that seem to care about veterans and actually want to help, the VA as an organization fails veterans so consistently, that it is a benchmark of humor and US failed bureaucracy. The VA systematically provides substandard care and poor services to a point that would inspire litigation if they were a private organization that could be held to any amount of accountability.

My experience with the VA is the reason I, as a Veteran, highly advise younger generations to stay away from the military, because they will not be cared for and no actual help will be provided, even for service-connected injuries the USG admits responsibility for which will negatively affect the rest of your life. You’re on you’re own because the VA cares more about broken compliance and red tape than they ever have about any serviceman.

### 5/5 — VA refill medication delivery

*2024-08-22*

I usually get my mail and my medication from the VA through delivery to the house and usually it comes early or it’s on time not very often that comes a day or two later that’s due to the post office slow down, but I have hardly had any problems with the refill on medication I’ve been having very good luck with that so I thank you very much.

**Developer response:** We're glad you have had success with the app. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — VA refill app

*2024-05-26*

The app is very easy to use with a lot of information. Log in is straight forward. I use the app all the time. It is my source of information whenever I need to see a doctor out of the VA system and the question of what meds I’m taking shows up!! Great app

**Developer response:** We're glad you were satisfied with the app. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Could be better

*2024-05-14*

With that said VA could combine RX Refill and VA Webbsite into one site so Veterans don’t have to sign in twice,in example sign in to renew Prescriptions and sign out, then sign in again on another website to communicate about some thing else. Sadness.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry you have not had a good experience completing your business on more than one site and thus having to log in more than one time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will share your review with the product team. If you should encounter any issues during sign in, or have any other issues arise, please contact the Mobile Solutions / Health Resource Center Help Desk at 877-470-5947 for assistance. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2024-04-17*

If you are a veteran , you MUST download this app. This app makes ordering prescriptions much more efficient than showing up to the VA to request them manually or even emailing your doctor for a refill . Don’t hesitate, download now !

**Developer response:** We're glad you have been satisfied with the app.

### 5/5 — Review of my service

*2024-02-14*

My VA pharmacy has been a real plus to my health services provided to me. My medicine and insulin supplies are always on time and complete. I can always get what I need when I need it. Plus I have a individual team pharmacist who is aware of my current condition and my medical plan for my future health. I am very happy with the medical team providing me medical services.

**Developer response:** We are pleased to know you are having success. Please also be aware that Rx Refill is transitioning into VA Health & Benefits app, which can be downloaded today to help you manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Review of my healthcare

*2023-12-30*

**Developer response:** We're glad that you are satisfied with your experience.

### 5/5 — On line prescription ordering

*2023-12-21*

Great service. I have to drive to Wilkes-Barre to pick up my medicine. Usually come to my mail box in a day or two.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, we're glad you had success with the app. Please be aware that Rx Refill is going away and moving into the VA Health & Benefits app, which you can download and use today to manage your prescriptions.

### 5/5 — Still not user friendly

*2023-12-07*

Va sends you an e mail telling you that a prescription is heading your way. But you have to dig to find out what was filled

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2023-12-02*
