However, the app is too inconvenient to use. When I book a cab, it will wait for a while and prompts an error saying NO DRIVER IS AVAILABLE. However when I close the app and reopen it, I see that the booking was successful! I do this everytime because it happened too me several times where I kept on retrying to book without exiting the app but it kept on showing failed bookings, so I had to use other app to book other cab, only to find out later that the Ryde driver would already be waiting for me at pickup location! Another thing I noticed is that, the app does not notify the passenger that the booking was cancelled by the driver himself. So passenger would keep on waiting at pickup location until he/she finds out the booking has already been cancelled by the driving only when he/she checks the app again. I hope in such cases where driver would cancel for any reason, there should be some app notification and app will try to automatically perform another booking with same details. The only support option is WhatsApp, and no one responds, even after waiting for an entire day. Another major issue is that the fare can increase when you arrive at the destination without clearly explaining the reason. The final receipt also does not provide enough details to understand why the price changed. As a new customer, I expected much better transparency and customer service.
