### 5/5 — Lovely, lush, brilliant

*2022-12-03*

Just beautifully designed. I actually think about this app and smile. The sounds you can get out of it put physical pedals to shame and the price is more than right.

### 5/5 — Something different

*2022-07-12, version 1.0.8*

With so many apps available, and a lot of them excellent, it takes a developer with a different brainwave to make something unique. Yes, this is one such app, offering subtle blends that alter notes in very pleasing ways. The first thing I tried suddenly sounded as if it had been recorded in orbit! Marvellous.

### 5/5 — So much to explore!!!

*2022-06-12*

It has the look and feel of a video game at first glance, but it’s simple UI design (with active moving elements) doesn’t do this app justice on all the wonderful ways that you can shape audio.

Erik has tapped deep into his imagination to bring this wonderful concept to life and for that…thank you!

### 5/5 — Utterly Bonkers

*2022-05-16*

Bonkers but bloody brilliant

### 5/5 — Fantastic Quality Still Being Updated

*2022-05-06*

This plugin will not disappoint you. This will take your sound to the next level and provide colors for your music you didn’t even know existed. Paint with Eric’s canvas and you will not be dissatisfied. Worthy of a small bill drop and then some in my opinion. Turning knobs rules.

### 5/5 — Small requests

*2022-04-27, version 1.0.7*

If there’s anyway of changing the sections so they’re accessed through tabs/buttons instead of scrolling it’d be great. It’s easy to miss the target or accidentally turn a knob in the current version, especially on an iPhone.

Also: the knobs seem to have some sort of delay or momentum that make them hard to tweak precisely.

I’d say that on both aspects the other apps of this developer are just perfect, as a point of reference.

### 5/5 — Love at first sight

*2022-04-23*

This thing is amazing! Thank you for creating it, opened a whole new way of sculpting sound for me, using it in almost all my new stuff.

### 5/5 — Slight departure from the UI style.

*2021-11-24*

Hmmm…. Really cool sounds and endless possibilities, especially considering that you can use multiple instances of the AUV3.

What I wanted to say is ironic: when I first stumbled upon the other apps by this developer (Shapesynth, Nils, Elsa, etc.) I could not get used to the minimalistic interface. Particularly the low contrast of the UI elements was bothering me. I’ve since got used to it and really enjoy using it (still would love the ability to tweak the contrast for situations where it is hard to see the interface). The interface of the Rymdigare looks different, it is much more “normal” than the rest of the developer’s apps…ironically I wish it stayed true to the other apps’ aesthetic. Particularly the rotary knobs feel out of place.

Having said that, this is easily a 5 star app!

### 5/5 — Oh what fun it is to ride

*2021-10-28*

…………not a 1 trick pony

### 5/5 — I was very surprised.

*2021-10-08*

I’ve easily purchased over 100 music production apps. No, I’m not proud of it… But I can spot a special app when I see one, and in this case, hear one. The controls aren’t intuitive and straightforward, but there’s a manual for that if you’re serious about learning the ins and outs of the app. The presets will get you started, however. The magic is in the way it transforms sounds. From a simple sine wave to keys, it puts you in a completely different space which you couldn't quickly achieve with other apps unless you knew your way around them and used multiple plugins. It’s creative, fun but most essential, it sounds like you’ve been transported. Turn any sound into a new experience.

### 5/5 — What a Gift

*2021-10-06*

I've been writing music for over 25 years, and I've found the articles/instruments you come to rely on are usually best served in their simplest forms. However, once in a while, a rare while, an instrument (in this case an app) comes along with a sonic capacity and production quality to throw all that "simple is better" hippie crap out the window. The Developer has created a treasure here, worth far more than the $4.99 listed. And, it's fun- small suppressing features pop up, like narrated story lines, unique features and the beautiful look of the app. Incredible.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2021-10-05*

A fantastic concept, with a beautiful interface, that sounds lovely and is a joy to behold.

### 5/5 — What is behind the mirror?

*2021-10-03*

This developer knows that there is something behind the mirror. He has found a way to see it without breaking the glass. His apps allow us to step through the mirror and see it for ourselves. Once you are on the other side you never want to leave. There are more colours and shadows, more reflections and layers. And everything sounds better.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Impossible to see or read!

*2025-03-17*

Stupid colors making the app impossible to see and read. A TOTAL disrespect of color blind people. Deleted for the last time on this ridiculous design! And the stupid small postage stamp screenshots that impossible to read. Dropping IQs are a bear! 15 years and counting, showing the drop in peoples intelligence and the negative affect of herd thinking.

### 1/5 — Not AUV3 or inter-app

*2024-10-01*

It doesn’t show up in Cubasis or AUM at all.

### 2/5 — doesn’t load into AUM as auv3 effects

*2021-11-29*

Only works in inter app audio in AUM
Keeps trying to load as auv3 but never does, freezes up AUM

Please fix
Using iOS 12.2

### 2/5 — Doesn’t load

*2021-10-05*

I love this on stand alone, but I can’t seem to open it up on anything AUM, BM3 , Please fix this

### 4/5 — na ja

*2023-03-20*

überbewertet. mag die visuelle überfrachtung nicht. was audiophil, geboten wird ist weniger aufsehenerregend.

### 4/5 — I would love to give this 5 stars…

*2021-10-05*

…as it is quite unlike anything else out there insofar as pitch-shifting reverby shimmery stuff is concerned. However, labelling the controls in white on a very pale pastel background has rendered most of the legends genuinely impossible to read. Any chance of making the type dark grey/ black? Pretty please?

### 4/5 — Wild stuff.

*2021-10-03*

A floating space ship carrying reverb cubes that resemble shipping containers, radio feedback, waveshaper, planetary orbits… Space cadets, strap in.
My only gripe is that the filter seems to only have minimal usable range when everything is pumping and orbiting. Perhaps I need to try other material.

### 5/5 — Legendary Developer

*2025-07-05*

Eric is a legend. All projects phenomenal.

### 5/5 — Magique

*2025-04-10*

### 5/5 — Space, the final front ear..

*2025-04-04*

Just crazy fun, beautiful design, twisted space noises and more.
Can be played like an instrument.
Albeit a weird alien musical instrument no human has ever seen.
Thanks for such a great app 🙏

### 5/5 — Best “Verb” on iOS

*2024-10-07*

Still my go to effect on iOS.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2024-06-08, version 1.0.11*

Such a great sounding effect unit! With Rymdigare the sound design possibilities are endless. It’s very versatile, works great with both acoustic and electronic instruments. And the UI design is very beautiful and user friendly!

Also I’m very grateful for the recently added Mac OS support!

### 5/5 — All the plugins are a rare gem, this one is a diamond

*2023-11-01*

I love this devs approach to UX/UI and this is my favorite one. Not only is it interesting and fun it also sounds great and is very useful.

### 5/5 — Absolutely perfect

*2023-06-21*

If you like ambient/experimental music or if you just want to add something different to whatever your genre is, look no further: Rymdigare is utterly stunning. The sonic possibilities are endless and the graphical design is amazing.

It's hard to describe exactly what it does but think of it as a deep reverb/cruncher/shape-shifter. Put anything through it and play around with the controls to create brilliant soundscapes. Absolutely my most-used effects app.

### 5/5 — Just great

*2023-05-29*

You have to put your headphones on and dive into an unexpected soundscape engineering. Relax, nothing is under control :)

### 5/5 — Inspirational app

*2023-02-02*

Really nice on synths and great background audio also the dev is a great artist. kudos to the beautiful design much appreciated. apps need to learn from this forsure!

### 5/5 — Very deep and musical

*2023-01-11*

This effect is an AUV3 plugin. Once it listens to audio, it can do his magic.

Be sure to spend time using it and listening to the changes… Use the MIX knob wisely. Presets shows only a small portion of what this plugin can do.

I just love it.
