After clicking on the added device, at the top I scrolled all the way to the end and chose remote mode. There you can choose to join a room or create a room, when you hit create a room it asked you too choose a name, once you choose a name it gives you the code for your partner. If you need the code again after the fact you can click the icon in the top right corner.
