刘青春回到警局接受停职审查并且很顺利的通过。
王勇被追认为烈士。

回到了刑警队，他剪短了头发，掩藏了手臂上的纹身，刘青春知道，所谓的“消失”可能就要来了，留给他的时间不多了。

之后。

分局爆炸。

局长陈双十为主的7个房间连环爆炸，炸死9人，炸伤15人。局长当场身亡，作案者同时身亡。
当时办案人员的案情描述报告：19日下午3时，局长办公室突然发生局部爆炸，随后其它楼层共5个办公室和2个资料室发生连环爆炸，房间严重损毁。作案人身份查明，姓名：付以清，65岁，年轻时当过生物老师，后来转业到机务段成为工人，此人为之前一起案件的在逃人员。
3天后突然冒出一个黑社会性质团伙“黑河魔”声称是此案主使。经调查这是一个并不存在的组织。

之后。

邓局找到刘青春：你开始抽烟了？
刘青春：没瘾。
邓局：机密，警局老宿舍楼2层，邓秋平生前在房间里留了封信，可能还有其它线索，你晚上没事去看看吧。

工作人员：是的，但是刘队，这艘船没人敢上去，听说．．．闹鬼。

工作人员：３年前船老大死在船上，连尸体都没找到。后来陆续几艘渔船靠近尝试登船回来都神经病了。还有去年．．．
