### 5/5 — Finally an app that helps me put my phone down

*2026-10-10*

Finally an easy app that helps me put my phone away and disconnect. Unlike Screen Time, which mostly just makes me feel bad about how much I use my phone, Saalo actually helps me stop checking it every minute.

I track and set goals for how much time I spend with my phone down each day and like everything you track, it gets better.

The more I use it, the easier it gets to just swipe Saalo, put my phone down, and get back to being present with my family and friends. It helps make phone free a habit.
