The storyline is ok. I had a glitch and had to unload and reload the game and start again, but then it worked ok. Fair variety of hop types, though I hate having to revisit a hop to do it again with different bits, that’s just lazy, developers! Generally enjoyed this, but one big criticism is that the other puzzles were too easy and no choice of difficulty level. If you’re new to this type of game, you’ll love it, if you’re more practised, I think the games aren’t challenging enough. ### 4/5 — Little short but.. *2019-08-30* Little buggy, little short otherwise I loved it! ### 2/5 — LOVED...BUT THEN *2019-07-25* I was really enjoying this game at the beginning. I found the graphics good and the storyline very interesting and engaging but then the frustrations began. On three or four games, I was other in the middle or had totally solved them and everything froze. It would not open and give me my items to continue with. I wound up having to skip just to get the items. I DID check the guide to ,make ale sure my answers were correct. One was the game where to need to slide the circular pieces to their correct matching places. There was a red side and a blue side that included a heart a crown and a skull then Roman numerals I through XVIII I believe it was. Pretty easy to tell if you have things correctly placed. I would give this one 5 stars easily if this issue were ironed out but seeing how long it’s been with the other people’s complaints, I doubt it will happen. Shame because it would be a great game. ### 4/5 — Patn *2018-04-13, version 1.0.2* Good game with no glitches, so something has evidently been fixed. Nice graphics and interesting puzzles. Teleport worked well, and hints were mostly useful. Long gameplay, but bonus wasn’t that great. Big Fish Games does not have support and does not reimburse so I'm really stuck. ### 3/5 — Better than some *2017-09-26* Only did the sample game, but it was okay. I DIDN'T like the HO scenes that used pieces of items to find, and was glad when I came to a word list instead. But the game itself was only fair. Not great. I found a lot of it boring. The movements weren't logical, either. Lots of back and forth just to add time to the game. Illogical things done, too. Not my cup of tea. ### 3/5 — Hit the glitch !! Gave up and deleted! *2017-06-23, version 1.0.2* No way to move on fairly early in the game!! Unable to get a very vital piece into my inventory....uninstalling and powering on and off several times did not work...story not up to much anyway so deleted!! ### 3/5 — Strange game *2017-05-23, version 1.0.2* I found that some mini puzzles played so far then nothing, although I could see something had to happen. When using the hint button it would show to move out, then use hint button again and it would show to go back to the puzzle. Luckily I could play the match three and receive what was required to move on. The map although it would show where to go most of a level the map would show all areas. Only when nothing further was needed in one particular place would it then show no sign. The travel part of the map worked fine. As to the storyline it was go from one book to another to close it down. A couple of times it seemed to close down when I can't in all honesty say how it closed down. It was not a game I could play for too long as it felt tedious. For the reduced price paid it was an alright game. I would not pay the full price. ### 3/5 — 😒 *2017-05-20, version 1.0.2* I've loved all the sable maze games but this one wasn't so good. I found the whole story mixed up and didn't get the characters either . ### 3/5 — Buggy *2017-05-15* The first player to sign in starts the game in chapter 3, and can only go through two screens before the game locks up. Signing in as the second player will let you start the game from the beginning. The puzzles are very good, but several of them will stop responding to the touchscreen, requiring you to close the game down and open it up again. Big Fish doesn't say anything about fixing these bugs. I went to the strategy guide for help but the guide isn't the game l was playing at all! What the hell is going on? DONT BUY THIS GAME. Je ne jetterai pas le jeu espèrant que vous ferz une mise à jour avec les correctifs nécessaires. ### 1/5 — Horribly Glitchy *2017-05-08* I started the game in the Horror Chapter, which I believe is chapter 4. I started a new profile, and that got me to the beginning of the game, but when I looked at the map, it put me back in the Horror chapter. Not to be outdone by a glitch, I started yet another profile. I was doing fine through chapter two, watched a cut scene and then referred back to the map just to take stock of where I was before proceeding to the next chapter / stage. This stranded me altogether. I deleted all three profiles and began again from the beginning. I did go through the "support" pages, they suggested that I delete and reinstall the game. With all of the people having the same issues, perhaps BFG could perhaps fix the game before advertising it? This had lots of unusual puzzles, some quite tricky, only had to skip one. The hos were all different and mini puzzles as well. Lots of locations and the game flowed well, looked for the jigsaw pieces but missed 3 of them which you could not collect at the end though, the idea of collecting the different types of books was good.
