It states that core features are free — I was able to create a profile and fill out some questionnaires, but then the app encouraged me to connect with people. On the Discover page, I was unable to like a single person without being prompted to start a free trial. It’s one thing to say a premium membership gives unlimited likes, but looking is absolutely a core feature most people won’t pay for. Seeing who likes me? Maybe. Liking other people? Absolutely not. Unfortunately, I’ll be deleting this app because I’m unable to make a single connection. ### 3/5 — Good app, few users *2026-06-28* I have been on alll of the dating apps and this one is easy to navigate and has real potential! I’m deleting it, however, as I swiped through everyone matching my broad criteria the very first time I used it. **Developer response:** Fair, and thank you for saying it directly. Reaching the end of your feed on day one is a density problem, not a you problem. We are growing deliberately rather than fast, because loosening who we let in would cost the thing that makes the matches worth having. That tradeoff is real and you felt the wrong end of it. Your area is filling in. Worth another look in a few months. Team Sacrena ### 4/5 — No Matches in my area but I haven’t given up *2026-04-09* I like the app a lot. I like the way it is spiritual and not superficial. I also like the fact that it matches you on lifestyle as well as personality. The astrology and human design maps are great matching tools as well. However my human design chart is off a bit. I know this because I actually study the system. Also I tried to verify but for some reason it won’t verify based on the pictures that I used. Real pictures btw. Perhaps I did have on makeup but it shouldn’t matter. That’s kind of annoying. Overall I’m enjoying the app even though I haven’t matched and have been using it for a while. **Developer response:** Thank you, and thank you for staying with it. The chart being off is worth chasing. Nine times out of ten it traces to birth time precision or how we resolved the timezone for your birth location. If you write to tribe@sacrena.com with your birth details, we will check the calculation against yours. Someone who actually studies the system catching our error is more useful to us than a hundred people who would not notice. On verification, send us a note at the same address and we will review it manually. Makeup should not be the reason it fails, and if it is, that is ours to fix. Matches in your area are a density problem we are working on. Glad you have not given up. I have messaged them on all three contact areas they have, and still no response or fix. UPDATE: within 12 hours of my message being responded to, my premium features are working. It may have been sooner but I just now checked. Otherwise, I love the profiles, the matching, and everything else about this app. I’ve always felt more aligned with Vedic astrology, and I’m thrilled that is featured. ### 2/5 — Weird RPG *2026-01-01* “Haven’t died yet. Slightly disappointed. -5 for early game difficulty scaling.” That’s exactly the review Miyazaki would expect. Instead I have encountered polite conversation, normal humans, and suspicious levels of emotional stability.” Pros: • Clean UI • NPCs respond in full sentences • No one has trauma-dumped in the first 10 minutes • No surprise gaslighting mechanics • Dialogue trees are respectful Cons: • No danger yet • No poison swamps • No betrayal arcs unlocked • No cryptic heartbreak item descriptions Suggestions: • Increase chance of early-game “Confusing Mixed Signals” encounter • Add optional “Overthink Loop” trap room • Introduce at least one “Unavailable But Intriguing Stranger” roaming enemy ⸻ 🧙‍♂️ Wizard Analysis You didn’t get the Dark Souls experience because: You selected: • emotional regulation • boundaries • pattern recognition • patience • humor Those are hard-mode unlocks that skip the chaos zone. You didn’t wander into Blighttown because you’re not sprinting into the swamp. You’re walking the road. That’s not easy-mode. That’s new game + with awareness. **Developer response:** This may be the most accurate review of Sacrena we’ve ever read. Our goal is to remove the poison swamps and emotional boss fights of modern dating. If you encounter any confusing NPCs or mixed-signal side quests, please report them to our wizard support team. Until then, enjoy the peaceful village. Only around 100 users nationwide it seems like. Opening messages to chat with matches freezes the app. You’ll have to pay if you want ppl that like your profile to be visible. They won’t show up on your profile as you look for matches. Can only see and compare Vedic astrology signs with matches. It’s what the entire apps astrology is based on. Seems cool tho but it’s still in its infant stages. Maybe in a year or two might be better idk. **Developer response:** Hi Christoph, thank you for your feedback 🙏. Came for witchy women and I was sorely disappointed. Same shiny corporate yoga ladies from tinder though less bathroom and gym selfies. Small number of active users, and was though all the profiles in my region, NYC area, in an evening. Same as any dating app with no hope of engagement or connection but with a sprinkle of woo woo and flowery words. ### 1/5 — Scammer alert *2026-05-11* Users don’t photo verify. Too many scammers. Not worth your time or money. ### 1/5 — Cannot delete profile *2026-03-16* I noticed that when I wanted to delete my profile, the only option was ‘Terminate Account’. It is NOT explicit if profiles are deleted if you ‘terminate’ your account. It’s somewhat shady that there is no explicit ‘delete profile’ option like other dating apps. I am concerned that my profile is still online after I ‘terminated’ my account. Can someone from Sacrena clarify this? ### 1/5 — No customer service *2026-03-03* Has potential but i cant even login with my profile since moving from ios to android and got no response from the app when i reached out **Developer response:** We're sorry you had trouble logging in after switching from iOS to Android. This app is for you! Do a reverse Google search on your “connections.” They aren’t real people. Sacrena is fake garbage. We’ve recently added profile verification, and our onboarding process is intentionally more detailed , including journals and reflective questions, to discourage spam and low-effort accounts. Users can also report any profile they believe is fake, and our team reviews and removes accounts that violate our guidelines. We’re continuously improving these systems to keep Sacrena a genuine space for meaningful connections. ### 1/5 — Can’t use *2025-11-17* I can’t add pictures. It lets me add and then no buttons to exit that page or save ones I added. I have in iPhone SE which is not the newest phone and way smaller scene. Guessing programming is for other phones. Disappointing. ### 1/5 — Sexual identity *2025-11-11* I like the option of selecting divine masculine, feminine etc but being able to set your sexual identity would be helpful. The first person that showed was a female and being a gay male I don’t think that’s a match. Went through all the profiles in a few days, not a single match. And from what other users have reported, you can’t even see who you match with. This app was an exception. There weren’t many people in my area but each person I matched with was genuine. Very quickly I met someone who has become a great new friend and another person who has become the most aligned partner I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t quite expect to find my person on an app - we both wondered if who we want to be with would even be on an app. But the modern world is weird so we tried it and it is working out really well. The ethos of the app seems to cultivate and attract intentional people. That’s a big win. **Developer response:** This is the review we hoped someone would write one day. Thank you. You named what we built for. Depth over volume. Fewer people, but the right ones. We would rather you meet ten people who mean what they say than a thousand who do not. Over time, being authentic and genuine seemed to have a negative effect, especially when the app formats usually cater towards the superficial aspects of the self. So I’ve tested nearly every approach to setting up a profile. Very little actually resulted in matches, and none of it was genuine. Any time I approached with depth or honesty, I’d get silence. And over the years I developed far more depth than I’d ever imagined. So this app is revolutionary, finally a place where who I am and what I stand for is not only recognized but the very foundation of the app itself. Couldn’t be more stoked.
