SACS has been a leading application since 1996 known in all hospitals, medical centers, and medical transportation companies in Miami Dade and Broward as well as in Orlando, Tampa, Washington DC, and Wisconsin. Among the technical features and functionalities, the main matter is patient safety, so the application allows for verifying the vehicle inspection and odometer readings. Drivers get the routes electronically every day on their iPhones, those routes are planned and optimized in the office with the SACS Web application. Once a patient is on board, this status is sent to the Dispatcher's office, just like when any patient arrives at the destination points.
