## What is Saddle Sense?

Saddle Sense turns your bike into an air quality sensor. Ride with a small bike-mounted sensor and see the air you actually breathe, street by street.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live readings while you ride: PM2.5, PM1 and PM10 from your sensor, with colour-coded bands you can read at a glance.
• A street-level air quality map of London, built from real rides and reference monitoring stations.
• Your trip history, with each route coloured by the air you passed through.
• A personal exposure dashboard: distance, rides, readings contributed, and how your exposure is trending.
• Route planning: compare route options and pick the one with the lowest predicted PM2.5 before you set off. This feature is new and still improving as we map more of London.
• Optional leaderboards: join with a nickname and compare rides with other riders.

ABOUT THE PILOT
Saddle Sense is currently running a limited pilot in London. Anyone can download the app, create an account, and explore the map and route planning. Sensors are provided to pilot riders; if you would like to take part, get in touch through saddlesense.co.

THE SENSOR
Air quality readings come from a Saddle Sense sensor that connects over Bluetooth. Without a sensor you can still browse the map, plan routes and review your ride history.

YOUR DATA
Your rides and readings belong to you. Readings that feed the shared map are anonymised and aggregated first, so the map never shows individual journeys. You can delete your account and data from inside the app at any time. Details: saddlesense.co/legal/privacy-policy.html
