Show your child what animal makes what sound, what is the correct pronunciation of its name, how to say its name in foreign language, how to write the name. 

Simplicity is the key to a successful app for children. Touch the animal to see its magnified image and hear its voice, name and written form. Touch the arrow or swipe your finger to get to next or previous page with more animals. Run simple slideshow for the youngest where no children cooperation is needed.

I bought these for my daughter over a year ago and now she can’t play with a single one because it is not compatible with the newest Mac 11 version.  Developers need to stay up on the updates.

I downloaded this when my little girl was about a year old. She has absolutley loved it ever since - even now, nearly four years on. She has recognised exotic animals on the tv ("look mummy, the pangolin's asleep") directly from having this app. She loves animals and always wants to know more about them. We particularly enjoy playing name that animla just from the noises, and trying to imitate them. I really, really recommend this game to all parents of little ones. It is great.

This has been one of my son's favorite apps since 10 months old. We gave in and bought the app. He may be learning some unusual animals but it's great for keeping him occupied when you need a few minutes. I don't like the cartoon versions or use the other languages, but he does.

This app is in the category for ages 5 & under, so I thought my 4 year old would love this. I took a look at it first and thought it was a great concept but executed poorly. The pictures of the animals look so weird and some of the animal sounds are interesting. I decided to show my daughter and she liked it at first but got frustrated when the slideshow would lock. So unfortunately the app didn't hold her attention for very long.
