Dog and cat lovers who care about the health and safety of their furry little friends use this app to identify harmful ingredients, recalled pet food and the products True Country of Origin by simply scanning the barcode found on every pet food product. The Safe Pet Treats app identifies over 30 harmful ingredients used today by many pet food manufacturers including, BHA, BHT, Ethoxyquin, Propylene Glycol, and By-Products. You no longer need to remember every single harmful or toxic pet food ingredient because this app does it for you. Just scan the barcode and in less than 2 seconds you'll instantly know if the dog or cat food is safe. This app comes in handy when you're at the pet store looking at the wall to wall selection wondering which product is safe. In addition to identifying harmful ingredients, the Safe Pet Treats app will also show you if the scanned product has been recalled by the FDA or manufacturer. Our latest update now also tells you the products True Country of Origin. Some pet food companies use labels that say Made in the USA or Manufactured in the U.S. but fail to mention where the ingredients are sourced from. Only a handful of companies are U.S. Made and Sourced, the rest are either U.S. made with imported ingredients or U.S. made with domestic and imported ingredients. It is supposed to do so much more, and only tells you whether a treat was recalled. I thought it would tell you how safe it was, note certain ingredients, and ratings. I can find recalls doing an online search; this App is without merit. There was no 7-day trial. Offloaded the same day it charged me .99. It allows me to scan quality and saves all previously scanned items for me to view later.
