When I first downloaded this app, it was very motivational and definitely helped me drive more safely. 
Lately I don’t know what’s happening. My scores are increasingly going down and getting worse. I’ll leave my phone in my work bag and I’ll still get scores in the 60s for phone use.

To improve your phone score make sure your phone is secure before driving in a place like a cupholder or phone mount.  Safe Roads Challenge detects movement of the phone so if the phone slides around on a seat or is nudged/falls while turning corners, hitting potholes, etc., it is possible the app may detect a "distraction".

Daily trivia doesn’t give enough time.  Not for those who have a hard time reading or are not intellectual.  Hard to navigate.  Good rewards.  Not very accurate.  It does help with safer driving.

Overall I like the app and ease of use; roughly 10% of my trips are not recorded despite all setting allowed to do so.

I am able to get through adding my phone number and name. As soon as I enter the code that was sent to my phone it says it’s not able to make an account. I’ve tried so many times now, even deleting and reinstalling the app

Ok I’ve had this app for about 2 years or maybe a year and a half. And I have to say the challenges are fun. BUT it’s NOT accurate at all. I say this bc it supposedly calculates a lot of things that’s not right. It really needs some work on that end. And I see I’m not the ONMY person that thinks this. But that’s the only complaint I have. Fix that part and I’ll give u 5 stars✨…

Ever since they changed from Trypscore to this it’s been so buggy and takes forever to load in as well as to upload drives and confirm you were the driver. The layout also sucks compared to when it was Trypscore and it’s harder to navigate. I do appreciate all the gift cards they send out and it’s legit, I’ve won many times and I’ve been using it for years

After MONTHS of using the app, I finally did win a couple gift cards. But after the app switched over to “Safe Roads Challenge” from TrypeScore, it is nearly unusable. 

Trips sometimes don’t show up for hours, and you now need to claim them everyday and before noon or they get automatically claimed as “Passenger”. I haven’t been able to check my Weekly tasks for over a month now. It just won’t load. It started to get good when it was still TypeScore, but after the rebranding, it is trash.

Everything is slow to load. It requires way too much admin everyday to maintain.

Half the features do not work. I contacted support to fix the trivia game 3 months ago and it still doesn’t work, apparently they’re still looking into it. Once you’ve gotten some trips in the readings start to become inaccurate. Feels like you’re never going to “win” anything even with a lot of entries and badges. Save the headache.

Six of my drives are missing from last week. Still waiting on two to show up from the past day. I’m tired of checking constantly. I don’t know the trick to getting them to show up. Sometimes it takes 12 hours, sometimes it’s instant, sometimes they never show up at all.

Please make sure you have done the following: go to your device's settings, scroll to and click on Safe Roads Challenge app, turn the 'Motion & Fitness' toggle to On, click into 'Location', choose 'Always' and turn the 'Precise Location' toggle On. In addition to these settings, low power mode needs to be turned off as that will interfere with Trips recording in the background of your phone.

Downloaded the app, created an account, completed my profile and went for a couple of routine drives. The app goes offline the moment you leave your home WiFi even though cellular data is turned on for the app. You cannot bring the app online by any method except returning to home WiFi and pressing the offline message, which is neither intuitive nor stated in the message or anywhere else. Nor can you exit that screen to seek app help.

It also does not record your drives apparently while offline, or perhaps at all. As of yet, they still haven’t appeared, nor have any of the other drives appeared.

Hard quit the app, rebooted the phone. Same results. Deleted the app, rebooted the phone, downloaded and reinstalled the app and tried again. Same thing.

Additionally, there’s no configuration setting for BEVs. BEVs naturally accelerate much faster than an ice car due to the torque conversion. Odds are you’ll get dinged for normal or even slow EV acceleration, but since it doesn’t record, doesn’t stay online except when using WiFi, it doesn’t really matter.

Don’t download it, don’t use it. Probably a scam to get data and nothing more. Deleted.

i think the app would be really nice but i wouldn’t know because it keeps logging me out and stays stuck on the loading screen when i try to log back in. because of this i cannot get my rewards and see if i drive good or not :( id really love someone to fix this slso when im driving with my parents ( them driving not me) i still have this problem maybe it thinks i’m the one driving and i’m on my phone so it doesn’t let me use the app? i dont know. pls someone reach out if you can help.

Easy to use and makes you drive in a safer way. I had no problem with installation on my 7 year old phone. I do stick my phone in a boxing glove jammed between the seats to secure it!

I’ve had this app for over 3 months now and can attest to 2 small prizes and a killed habit of looking at my phone.  This helped keep me accountable because the people I know (co-workers) would know my score.  I like that you can compete as a state, or even against your own family.  I hope folks can look beyond the small imperfections of an app, who’s objective is to make our roads safer.  I’m not a fan of requiring something like this but I am a fan of this project being 100% voluntary!

This is a great app if you are in the car just driving along and not using your cellular device 
You collect pyns and scores on your driving 
And there is contests 
I have have one a couple of the trivia contest since I have been using the app for the past few years
