## Newest reviews (17 of 50)

### 1/5 — Crashes on iOS 14

*2020-12-16, version 1.4*

App has become unusable with the latest iOS upgrade. Crashes upon launch.

### 1/5 — Quits when opening

*2020-12-12, version 1.4*

On iPhone 11. Was working few weeks ago. Not just quits split second after opening. Deleted and downloaded same thing

### 1/5 — Colors don’t match chart

*2020-11-13, version 1.4*

I can’t determine the risk for different areas using the map on the app.

### 1/5 — Bad map

*2020-11-09, version 1.4*

The colors in the map key and corresponding colors on the map make no sense...

### 2/5 — Map colors don’t correspond with legend

*2020-10-21, version 1.4*

There are colors on the risk map that bear no resemblance to the risk color codes. Separately, iPhone “Exposure Notifications” feature doesn’t seem to work with this app even though the app tracks you. Developer should clarify if this app is supposed to notify you if you were near a self-reported COVID victim.

### 2/5 — No NFC

*2020-10-19, version 1.4*

I was hopping for real time NFC tracking. That’s how you actually get real time notifications if you can in contact or was in proximity of someone who’s infected. Needs lots of work and revision.

### 1/5 — Map Colors

*2020-10-01, version 1.4*

Same as many others, I’m uninstalling and getting another with much higher ratings!

### 1/5 — Map Colors Do Not Match Legend Colors

*2020-09-22, version 1.4*

Apparently this app does not use the Apple/Google API developed for COVID-19. I understood that, but if you’re looking for that, check the state/region specific apps (mine doesn’t have one yet)

### 1/5 — Map colors are not helpful

*2020-09-15, version 1.4*

Please change the threat color coding scheme on the map. It seems like the neighborhood colors match the key, but the larger partially transparent areas are just impossible to use. I would really love to have this information but I will delete this until it is usable.

### 1/5 — To: Health Partners

*2020-09-10, version 1.4*

Go look at the reviews for the Covid app and update the app accordingly so it’s useful. I downloaded it and totally agree with ALL the reviews about the colors being impossible to discern risk level based on the color table. Are you looking at the reviews at all? This would be such an easy fix. Not updating this app makes me doubt the accuracy of the information, and frankly, your institution. And to top it off, your “contact us” form I’m using in this app is impossible to send because it requires filling in a field that doesn’t allow you to fill it in. This app is a great idea but the color key is bad execution.

So should I delete this app, or are you going to fix it? Please advise.

### 3/5 — Exposure Notification?

*2020-09-03, version 1.4*

It doesn’t seem that this app uses the excellent exposure notification that Apple and Google coordinated on developing. Why not?

### 3/5 — Map Colors Illegible

*2020-09-02, version 1.4*

I too came to say that the map overlay colors are hard to read. This is the most interesting feature. I think a little change would help.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2020-09-01, version 1.4*

The map overlays don't even resemble the legend volirs. What a joke this app is. Deleted.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2020-09-01, version 1.4*

People have been complaining about the map legend overlay colors since the app came out and you still haven’t fixed it. That just speaks to how much the creators actually care about keeping the public informed.

### 3/5 — Better/accurate map colors

*2020-08-12, version 1.4*

I like this app but the colors on the maps do not accurately match what the color codes are.
Maybe have more significantly different colors, blue or green to differentiate better in the levels of threat.

### 3/5 — Can’t read map colors

*2020-07-02, version 1.4*

Great idea but the map colors do not match the key because of the transparency. There’s an orange-pink and a purple-pink. Are those both high? Are they different?

### 2/5 — Map colors ineffective

*2020-06-22, version 1.4*

This could be an extremely useful tool if the map colors weren’t so ambiguous. And some of the colors on the map are not even on the legend. There should also be a better palate used for the colors. For colorblind people, the color hue and tone similarities are too close.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just crashes

*2021-09-18, version 1.4*

App crashes as soon as you open it. Deleted it.

### 1/5 — Currently useless

*2021-07-20, version 1.4*

This app had promise, but as of July 2021 it just crashes immediately on startup.

### 1/5 — APP No longer works

*2021-01-31, version 1.4*

Updated my iPhone to IOS 14.4 and this app now aborts every time I open. 👎🏼

### 1/5 — App won’t even open!

*2021-01-31, version 1.4*

When I try to open the app it just shuts down immediately. I deleted it and reinstalled and still doesn’t work. Not worth it even if free!

### 1/5 — Not compatible with iPhone

*2021-01-29, version 1.4*

Crashes immediately when opened.

### 1/5 — Immediately crashes

*2021-01-10, version 1.4*

This worked before, not with latest Apple IOS update. Now it crashes upon opening. Deleted.

### 1/5 — App immediately crashes

*2020-12-30, version 1.4*

As soon as I bring up this app it crashes, I tried rebooting my phone but had the same results, I deleted the app and then reinstalled it unfortunately this had no effect again this app only crashes when trying to bring it up.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max running the current 14.2 software

It would be nice if they fix this

### 1/5 — Totally Useless. Developers should be ashamed.

*2020-12-26, version 1.4*

This app has zero purpose other than to waste a prospective persons time. The developers were obviously non caring in whatever their goal or intention was but it was not in line with helping the public with COVID 19 issues. Apple should dump this app and ban the developer from further lame attempts at being productive. Harsh but true.

### 1/5 — Instant crash crash!

*2020-12-22, version 1.4*

It worked well a few months ago when I first downloaded it. I liked the map even though the colors were off a bit. Now it crashes two seconds after I open it. I will defeat it and reinstall after it is updated and fixed.

### 1/5 — Trying to like it!!

*2020-12-20, version 1.4*

Totally support this effort. App now crashing immediately with latest IOS update

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App! Using local Health Department & this App Keeps you Informed.

*2020-11-17, version 1.4*

Applying information from local health departments and this app has helped me decide what areas to avoid traveling to when I need to shop or hike/walk. Thanks! Obviously a few users need the Toddler version.(Insert eye roll here.)

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2020-06-19, version 1.4*

I would like to use this as a screening tool of patients coming into my medical office. It would be great if there was an option to share results via email or text.

### 5/5 — Tracking by a health organization

*2020-05-18, version 1.4*

Let’s all use the same app so the data is more significant. Independent of how you feel about Partners. They can do research. I stayed away from apps with in-app purchases. Will not have great data and mercenary. We want statistical research on this. This data will help.

### 5/5 — User friendly

*2020-04-26, version 1.2*

It gives me peace of mind that I can learn the health of my neighborhood and know if I should avoid certain areas. Since this app is new I can only imagine over time it will get more specific and accurate. I appreciate the simplicity of this app and the explanation of how our data is anonymous and not for profit.

### 5/5 — Awesome idea, easy to use

*2020-04-24, version 1.2*

Loved how easy and fast this is to enter my information without having to enter my personal info. Looking forward to the app being as detailed as the website.

### 5/5 — Privacy is key

*2020-04-24, version 1.2*

This seems to be by a nonprofit which is good and probably why they respect my privacy. I didn’t even have to give an email address and I could still see my neighborhood level results. Sweet.

### 5/5 — Finally something I can do to help

*2020-04-16, version 1.0*

It’s easy to answer the simple survey. And the researchers can use that to help track COVID. I look forward to the map that will show day by day how my neighborhood is doing

### 4/5 — Helpful, but two issues...

*2020-04-23, version 1.2*

If providing this data helps track “hot spots,” I’m all for it.
However, it’s really hard to read the map since the colors in the legend are SO similar, and the legend is transparent. So the legend changes colors depending on what’s behind it!
The other thing that would be more helpful would be more granular results. What’s here is more than we had previously, but more granularity would be more helpful.
Short version... this is great. Some minor tweaks would be very helpful.

### 3/5 — Needs some improvements...

*2020-12-03, version 1.4*

1. I agree with another reviewer: the map/legend colors issue makes the map pretty much useless. Please correct this!
2. Some of the Health questions are ambiguous, e. g., “How many people have you been in close contact with in the last 24 hours?” Does this refer only to people outside of your household, or does it include them?

### 3/5 — Map colors confusing

*2020-09-28, version 1.4*

This appears to have been an issue for months, most of the map is a shade that doesn’t match anything on the legend. It would also help to know what the different colors actually mean.
