## What is SafeHelp?

SafeHelp helps a loved one get assistance, reach family, check in, or find the way home—without navigating a complicated phone.

Built for older adults, people living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss or other cognitive challenges, people with disabilities, children with caregiver supervision, and anyone who benefits from large, clear choices. SafeHelp opens directly to a calm, high-contrast home screen with simple language and strong accessibility support.

HELP IN THE MOMENT

• Call 911 with an intentional confirmation
• Report a fall and prepare a help message
• Call a trusted family member, caregiver, friend, or neighbor
• Send an “I’m OK” check-in
• Use Take Me Home for Apple Maps directions, trusted-person calling, and location-sharing choices
• Activate a press-and-hold panic siren

IMPORTANT INFORMATION, READY WHEN NEEDED

• Create an on-device Medical Card
• Add medications, allergies, conditions, doctors, care professionals, and important notes
• Choose which medical details may be included when sharing a help alert
• Share the Medical Card through the standard iOS share sheet

ROUTINES AND REASSURANCE

• Schedule one or two daily check-ins
• Set medication reminders
• Use Home Safety Zone for a local alert after leaving or returning to the configured home area
• Prepare an away or return-home text for selected trusted people; review it and tap Send in Apple’s Messages screen

SAFEHELP PLUS

SafeHelp is free to download, and essential emergency features remain available without a subscription. SafeHelp Plus includes Home Safety Zone, prepared away-and-return texts, scheduled check-ins, medication reminders, and ongoing iPhone and Apple Watch improvements. Eligible new subscribers receive 14 days free. After the trial, SafeHelp Plus is $4.99 monthly or $39.99 annually. Payment is charged to the Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings.

• VoiceOver labels and Dynamic Type
• High-contrast and very-large-interface options
• Optional spoken confirmations, haptics, and reduced motion
• iPhone and Apple Watch support

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

Profile, contact, medical, and preference information is stored locally on the device. SafeHelp has no user account, advertising, or medical/location analytics. Calls, messages, sharing, maps, and permissions use Apple’s standard interfaces and may require user confirmation.

SafeHelp does not silently place calls or send messages, continuously track location, or replace Apple Emergency SOS, emergency services, appropriate supervision, or professional medical advice.

SafeHelp is currently available in the United States, and its emergency-call workflow is designed for 911. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
